Every single song they do is spectacular and worthy of a watch/listen. I recommend “shallow” and “say something” for more ballads... “dance of the sugar plum fairy” is one of their grammy winners and amazing.

PTX is considered GOAT in acapella. They've been around for 10 years and had world tours. Had won three Grammy awards. In this video, notice how Kirstin ,the female vocalist, is shot against the cave light, a homage to Mother Mary herself. Thanks for going back to PTX. You have a wide array of music genres in their catalogue to choose from.

He was Pre-med at college when he joined the group. The trio (Scott- the blonde, Dark haired Angel is Mitch- and beautiful Talented Kirsty) have been friends since they were young. They were in musical theater and choirs all the time. When the 3rd season of the TV show The Sing Off happened in 2009 they had to have a bass and percussion. They knew Avi, he is a classically trained very deep voice with a beautiful head voice at times. They found Kevin Olusola on youtube. He writes & composes songs. He also plays the cello as he beatboxes. He calls it celloboxing. In 2017 Avi decided being on the road was too much and left the group. Matt Sallee was the one chosen to move forward with Pentatonix as the base. The first song to feature him was Sound of Silence. The group is still VERY ACTIVE. I hope to see you do every song they have.

Pentatonix has around 16 studio albums and EPs and a bunch of singles. I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions about what to listen to, but when you are first starting out I think it's good for you to look at their songs and pick something that looks interesting to you. I don't think there's any other group I could say this about, but in over 10 years of recordings there are none I haven't liked.

See, THAT is how people should do outros for videos. Run the battery out. I LOVE this reaction! :) I am fairly certain that Pentatonix have at least three Christmas albums and they do have content other than holiday songs. This is one of my favorite songs and it almost does not matter who covers the song, it's always good. I almost cried the first time I heard Pentatonix cover this one. The group has also covered John Lennon's song 'Imagine' and of course put their own twist in the music video; that one does make me cry, it's SO beautiful! :)

Pentatonix is amazing!!! Before I found them I wasn’t really big into chrismas music but all of their songs are just INCREDIBLE!! If I put any suggestions I’d probably end up listing every single song they’ve sang so for the time being 😅😅 the suggestions from the comments are really good choices!! I think you should check out Imagine since I love the meaning of the whole song.

I will watch your reactions anytime the fabulous basso Profundo, Avi Kaplan is in it. He was the bass for Pentatonix for 6 years. So glad to see you reacting to another Pentatonix video! I thought you guys weren't going to react to them anymore, I'm so happy! I subscribed when you reacted to Bohemian Rhapsody, but for whatever reason RU-vid unsubscribed me. Good thing I check for Pentatonix reactions almost everyday, so I found your video and I noticed I wasn't subscribed anymore. I an now though. A capella, that's the name for what they do: music with no instruments. What Kevin (the one who does the percussion part) does is beatboxing. I'm not sure which one of those terms you were looking for lol. I have many favorites but I would love for you guys to check out their live version of Hallelujah that's up on their channel. I just feel like Pentatonix live is a different experience. They are SO GOOD live. Lovely reaction, thank you!

If you want to see them perform live on a British TV show, they were on Sunday Brunch in 2015 and sang 3 songs. They also showed that they don’t have cooking skills. You should try Evolution of Music, Imagine or Sound of Silence.

🤣🤣🤣 another awesome reaction! Pentatonix PTX has 6 Christmas Albums. There's a video here on RU-vid called The making of Evergreen, one of their Christmas Albums. And yes, Mom is spot on, you need noise-cancelling headphones. 😂 Kevin is the beat-boxer. He also plays cello, sax and piano. Avi is the bass (only mbr change in 2017 to Matt).

I love you two, you're hilarious. 😂 Though to be honest, I almost choked when you said "I think they've got a Christmas album." At this point, they have so much Christmas music that they actually had made a short animated film (about 3 minutes long) that is basically making fun of themselves for releasing so much of it, and that video was released in 2019 so there's even more Christmas music now! 😂 I think they release a new album almost every year. Not just covers of classic songs but also a few original ones too. At this point you could probably listen to only their music during Christmas and rarely repeat one unless you want to (which you will want to, of course). I actually was rather surprised Avi (the original bass singer of the group) didn't go on strike or something, considering he's Jewish. 😅

@@TravellingwithMother I hope so! They are honestly incredible and I'm sure they've got something in just about every type/style of music you can think of. They have mostly covers but quite a few originals as well, even songs in other languages. Their mashups are always great too! I'm not even including their individual works since they all have separate individual RU-vid channels which are fabulous (especially Kevin's, the beatboxer's, since he's an especially talented individual), plus Mitch and Scott have an album together under the name Superfruit which is awesome too. You really can't go wrong with watching anything from them. 😆 I'm looking forward to seeing your future reactions!

No "almost" about it. They release a new Christmas album every year, period. In 2021 it was _Evergreen,_ which has just been nominated for a Grammy. In 2022 it's _Holidays Around the World._ If _Evergreen_ wins the Grammy it will be their 4th Grammy, and the first since Matt joined.

You should really take a look at Kevin Olusola (the beat boxer) doing a solo cover of two other songs: "Down" and "Sign of the Times". This will show you just how talented the one individual of the group really is. Please do reactions to each of those songs.

Just subbed hoping you will continue down the Pentatonix rabbit hole. They have 200+ covers and originals. Any you choose will be great. It is called a cappella. They have at least six Christmas albums. They are known for their Christmas music. Please do The prayer, ComeAlong, Hallelujah from their Christmas special. Loved your reaction 💕

In general it is called A Capella, but more specifically most of the drums and sound effects are called beatboxing.

We would all love your reaction to the new Angelina Jordan cover of Suspicious minds by Elvis. Angelina’s style has changed a little for this cover a more soulful and less jazzy approach and spouts her even more! This song, this video could just oozes music superstar. The hair, the clothes, the boots, the piano player are all a great homage to Elvis
