It has been and it’s still continuing but the man is not being charged despite being in contempt for years. to make things worse, through the maintenance officer, the man asked to settle a lower amount than he actually owes. These cases are straight forward but they take a considerable amount of time and require money to succeed.

.. Lets focus to those who want to be father's but denied the access You can't force someone to be a father he can abuse the child because he was forced to be the father...

They can't do anything to someone who hasn't been served. In this case the lady was served, she was given an order by the court and didn't comply and the dad followed up on that. There are men who are given jail time for not following court orders to support their kids but if you don't follow up as a mom then ofcourse they won't do anything.

And many of them are not

There are men serving jail sentence in contempt of court for not paying maintenance, just it is not spoken about too much. Key words being “in contempt of court order”.

Vindictive mothers should be jailed. Every child needs to also have a relationship with their fathers.

1) Was the court order not about the denial of the father's rights, which actually also with the child's rights? 2) Doesn't this whole episode give enough grounds for the termination of the mother's parental rights, especially seeing that she'll be in prison for an extended time?

@@ERT-rt2rt The title is misleading. Its as if they are defending men's rights but they dont care about men. They just applying the law and it took them so long to do that.This mother felt too entitled. This mother violated the order like 2 times.

@@babalwandamase9509 from the day she was born he was financially supporting and she would not allow her to go visit him. If she did, she would have to leave the next day. So it became apparent that she does not want her to go even for holidays. So he stopped because there are no visits or calls.

If you open a case for that the court will order the father to support, if he disobeys order then he may get arrested. if the mother denies father access she will be made aware of the contraventions may be ordered by court to give father access. If the mother disobeys she may then be arrested.

It is about time that we see more judgements like this. The child need his or her father. My ex husband did not pay me any maintenance for my child. Inspite of that he was welcome to take my 2 sons excess whenever he wanted to see his children and pay their father visits. My children are close to his family. It is not about us the couple, it is about the children. Wake up ladies, leave these dirty manners and allow children to have a relationship with both parents. Children did not ask to come into this world. Grow up and become matured women. Without him, that child would not be there. Rise above everything and think of the children, my Sons are balanced youngsters because of that. Let her go to jail, maybe she will sober up.

It is unfortunate. However, we need to have consequences for defying court orders or else they become meaningless. The father was given an order & he compiled. The mother should have compiled.
