I like this guys videos but on his site a 6950 xt and a 13700k is like 3,200 i have a computer those specs and it costed 1,800. Like yeah i know building fees and what not but like Damn a extra 1,000 dollars just for building. And thats not even including tax and shipping.
@@bbbblllack If you check their websites you can see that their prices are still insanely high. I would spend 1k more on the same pc that I have if I had bought it there. They have some interesting shorts though.
Nah, custom water cooling, with custom waterbraket for the gpu as well, x670 mainboard and 128 gigs of ram can indeed cost 2.6k. The 3060 would be very questionable in this case, but it wouldn't be a rip off. Just a bad choice of components...
@@ClickHere4Naruto how about currency? It's not just the US who have "dollars" as their currency This is the exact reason why people shouldn't make judgements on face value, everything has context
Edit: I've been made aware that this is in Canadian dollars, not USD, and that this was last year. I still don't think it's a good deal by any means but not as egregious considering prices during late 2021/early 2022
@@LunardH bro don't you hear at the start of the video he said last year which means that guy probably buys the pc when the gpu prices are high so i think that's why his total is that high
Bro you are charging 2 grand for a mid range machine. 7 series cpus don't go over 400 and a 3060 can be had for about 400. Add on a $100 case, 250 for the mobo, $160 for top teir ram, let's be generous and say he wanted a 2tb m.2 (150) all this comes out to $1,360. Half what you charged him. Also keep in mind every part that I filled in (as you conviently didnt list them) is maxed out for this rig (besides the mobo). This is a borderline scam.
the issue is that the rest of the charge comes from building it that’s 700 bucks of reliable labor. this is the same as if you went to get your car repaired at the mechanic. labor isn’t free, but doing it yourself makes the total cheaper
That’s a rip off too considering a 3070ti can be bought second hand under 400$ your pc cost under 1k today. This customer most likely bought his pc during the graphic card shortage 1-2 years ago when everyone was buying 3060s and reselling them for 800-1000$
@Lostsouls96 i don't buy 2nd hand computer components. Of course i could have gotten things cheaper if i bought them used. Everything in my pc was brand new
That's in Canadian dollars. Converted to USD (which is about $1970 USD), it'd be about $150 more than what I would charge for a similar build out of my shop.
What a horrible componenr choice for a pc. Why would you ever put a ryzen 7 in a pc with a rtx 3060 when a ryzen 5 would also be good enough for that gpu
2.6k for 3060 😂, 3060-$700 max 650 psu-$120 2tb ssd-$150 Motherboard-$200 32gb ram-$130 AIO-$200 Case-$200 Cpu-$300 =$2100 Assuming you bought all the best parts for a 3060 build, also assuming you got 32gb of ram instead of 16gb also assume you got the best gold rated psu and 2tb ssd instead of 1tb
Well not necessarily a free upgrade because the guy in a way paid for it when he paid the rest. If you wanted a free upgrade he could just paid for it and you wouldn't known that the previous sale was incorrect
Great person. Most people wouldn’t do that…… they would consider it a come up. Idk I can’t do that to someone. That person you’re essentially robbing canhave a family to feed ….. I’d rather go back, pay the money, and be able to sleep at night knowing I’m not a scum bag.
i would have kept the PC for sure. its your fault for not giving the customer the right price. also 2400 dollar with a 3060? you guys are mad at pc prices. totally not worth it. also learn to apply thermal paste. every time you guys do that its way way way too much
I7 128gb ram and a 3060ti for 2700$, he definitely shouldn't have paid you the rest you are scamming people who dont know much about pc parts and prices. That build at the height of the shortage would have costed 1500$....
I woulda sold that $26 bs for $1500-2000 whatever I can get for it 😂 and woulda gotten me something else nice reliable as f future proofed using my oringial budget plus the $26 sell 😭 sorrrry guys that’s how petty I am
I never understand how the prices are so high for these parts. I've seen gaming PCs go for 7k and it's mind boggling someone pays that much for a PC I can build for 3k. 2.6 for a 3060 is crazy as well but I do know someone who paid 2700 for a 6700xt gaming PC in the shortage.
One question. Can you upgrade the graphics card and v ram on a gaming laptop? I want to upgrade my graphics card from a GeForce rtx 3050 ti. Then the v ram to 8 gb
Forgot this was canada and almost fainted 😂 $2600 for a ryzen 7 and 3060ti almost got me croakin. Wait thats $1900 USD. Im still about to faint 😅 Scrollin through comments this must’ve been 2021. Rough times holy shit. Could barely get a console then either. Got my build in 2019 just before the mayhem 😅
are we just gonna ignore how r7 and a 3060 ti for >$2000 is an absolute scam? $400 cpu(5800x/x3d on amazon) + $400 gpu + $200 mobo(probably) + $100 psu + $150 case(maybe) = $1200. $1400 build fee is ridiculous Edit: i forgot ram, i would assume 64 gb ddr4 because a build like that doesnt need any more, $1200 + $150 = $1350. still, $1250 build fee is crazy
Said no one ever 💀 bro If I got a RTX 3060 and Ryzen 7 off you for $26.40 you’d never know that was stupid if he actually did that bro if it were me I’d be gon bro up the road before you even noticed and you charge $2600 that’s like $500-$900 building ya’ll were finna rob him anyway 💀 bell nah bro that’s predatory I got a PC with 6750XT that’s way better than a 3060 and a Ryzen 9 5900x I got both and my rig total is $1400-$1540 ya’ll ripped that man off bro stop it
Jesus that's not worth 2000 CAD im building my pc with a 6750xt and a 5600x your overpaying them. I also looked at your website and it's ridiculously high but this vid could've been from the time when parts were expensive. Also 2640 CAD is 1939.39 usd still you could've got him a 4070 😂
