I swear they find the nicest rdc's they can for these clips. That teeny tiny voice from that recruit never woulda flown when I went through the pipeline.

Say what you want about the Navy, but their primary operational area is the ocean, and if you make just a few mistakes she will swallow you up.

Having been a recruit in the British Army back in the late '80s, I can only begin to imagine how much energy was sucked out of our superiors by us!

My late sister-in-law was a Master Chief Petty Officer in the Navy. She did two tours at Great Lakes, first as a Drill Instructor and later as an Electronics Instructor. Mary was naturally soft spoken, but I imagine that her recruits listened more carefully to Chief Madden than to any of the other Instructors who barked out their orders.😊 Rest easy, sweet Chief, and may Light Perpetual shine upon you. ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

I remember doing that firewatch in boot camp. Are there barracks are a hell of a lot nicer than what we ever got. Bars were left over from like the 1940s. I'm not sure where this is but I went to Great lakes and I'm assuming that's kind of where this is too. That's a palace compared to what we had.

Energetic? My RTO was a machine. Back in the early 90’s, on the cusp of Gulf War I…my RTO’s especially my Chief were relentless, all day. Hell, they’d bring in RTO’s from other companies to mash us. They had no “off switch”. And I bless both my recruit training officers for instilling in me more than I ever was…at 17 years of age. I served in two branches, last was a combat arms mos in another branch. Basic instilled a new awareness and understanding that the world didn’t revolve around me but those next to me.

What a horror story. No way to acomplish competency other than this stupid garbage?? The number one function of both the military and police is defending human sacrifice. U say im full of it but if you think about it you might see it the same way.
