When I was in the Army, my platoon sergeant asked my what I expected of him, I told him that I don't want him to baby me, if I fail in training let me own it and learn from it. I became a Sergeant First Class and told all my Squad leaders, I'm not there to hold your hand, I'm their to help you up when you fall. I attribute all my accomplishments to my failures and at 38 I'm retired and now I'm gonna make video games.
I’ve seen them live 3 times. Once when I was a 16 year old boy in 2004. Once as a 19 year old young man in 2007, and most recently last month for my 35th bday.. at all three shows,Brent said some profound and deep stuff. He’s really one of the best frontmen to ever do it. He truly cares about the fans and is grateful for what he has and you just hear story after story about him helping people.
