Black Lillies is written in different hotel rooms during a tour of Asia. It's recorded in a croft in Ångermanland (Northern Sweden) and mixed in Berlin. I see it as a sort of manifesto to feeling of always being on the way and never arrive.
With Black Lillies in the headphones Malmö filmmaker Jesper Berg went to Japan to document the melancholy that only platforms, trains and people's empty gaze can elicit.
