well done to the both of you, just a reminder on the dirt tracks, keep up the speed to handle the bike better, if you go too slow, especially up a hill then the bike will become harder to keep up, speed equals momentum....well done....fantastic thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the tips David we need all the help we can get. We've been learning the hard way that we need to give it more "berries" in dirt/sand, other riders have given us similar advice along the way and it's surprising how effective it is once you overcome the fear of accelerating when the bike starts slipping.
Looking at an RE Himalayan to buy soon, what did you like/not like about the bike?, especially the seating position, as have heard it is not that good for tall people?
Hey Ric, it's a little on the small side for tall people (I'm 6'1), but it's still comfortable for me on long rides and all round we're really happy with them.
