A short video to get your attention to the point to look at regarding the scratches on the frame from a lot of riding 2-up. Not a major issue, just a bummer because factory did not apply any protection on these areas ;)

Have a look for some kind of more durable and water resistant sticky tape Kristis , maybe a rubber version . A light coating of silicon grease might be an idea to allow the rubber bungs slide rather than scratch
I prefer simple tape as anything else a big more thicker - gets squekee when going 2up :) grease does not help either, as rubber gromets have tendency to trap bigger dust/sand particles and still scratch it ;) so simple tape is enough for a season, at least in my case
