here i compare them to some other actual motorbike handle bars to see what the difference is.

Hey Gary and Bike Web people. I've Been thinking of doing this type of handle bar mod to one of my mountain bikes for a while (hesitating about the BMX style?). Gary your always doing the very interesting stuff with the bikes, keep it up. Were also sometimes over your side of town (Richmond) when the Ikea Swedish meatballs call to us. Tasty.

All of those bars look great. The stridsland ones most impressive and shiny. But yeesh they seem expensive if I converted DKK right!

How is the stiffness on steel bars like this compared to traditional 6061 aluminum MTB flat bars?

I think has more give because wider and these aren’t Aluminum I don’t think

Hi Gary. Could you tell me if this new chainring is designed for a 9-speed chain or maybe for a 6/7/8? Or maybe it doesn't matter?

I rock the Ahern Mx bars on my 1990 Gary Fisher, 800mm wide. Love them! Great review!

MX specific bars have excellent shapes for mtb but way too stiff for a rigid 2 wheeler, on a MX motorcycle with plenty of travel their stiffness is not an issue

Gunna have to disagree, but yeah each to their own. I have also bent moto bars before on one of my builds so I don’t think too stiff 😂
