@@noahknight4039 It’s not the type of bike. It’s the rider. I know of situations where groups of people riding cruisers disobey traffic laws, don’t ride in the correct formation, etc. and caused accidents. The last group ride I went on was with a few people who had cruisers and they were speeding and riding out of formation. I didn’t try to keep up and let them ride ahead of me. BTW, I own three bikes and none of them are cruisers. But I always wear full gear and obey traffic laws. I have a 2020 DRZ400SM, 2020 SV650, and a 2022 MT-07.

I have heard others complaining about Cruza's propensity for safety gear. People say he's pimping his products too much....... But I get it it. He lost his brother and broke his arm from bikes. Besides trying to cheer up people and provide a positive mental health outlet and being genuinely entertaining, he's just trying to save lives, doing the Lords work, as usual. I appreciate it.

High vis doesn't always work.. I wear a high vis jacket and gloves.. I was still high by a car and they left me for dead. Thank God a harley rider saw it happen and called the cops and ambulance. I sustained minor injuries of a collarbone broke into 3 pieces ,2 broken ribs, minor road rash thanks to riding gear. The driver still hasn't been found
@CycleCruza
@CycleCruza Месяц назад
That is because may car drivers are distracted by texting on their phone and not even looking at the road, in that case it doesn't matter what color or flashing lights you have. However, hi viz is proven to help you be safer, that is why road construction workers are required by law to wear hi viz and also many road signs are in hi viz. Hi viz is not a naturally occurring color in nature and thus irritates the human eye and makes it stand out. Use everything to your advantage! An airbag vest or jacket in addition to a helmet all the gear is a must! Airbag tech can literally keep you from being paralyzed or killed, can reduce injury greatly. Imo, it should be a law that all riders wear airbag gear, this would save many lives and help prevent major injuries.

You're right about the speed. I've been suppressing my inner speed demon my entire life, all the way back to being a dumb kid on a 1 speed bike with nothing but a coaster brake screaming down hills before helmets were a thing. I didn't start riding until I was older because of that; I knew I had no business being on a motorcycle despite badly wanting to. I have to admit I was flat out stupid in the car when I was younger. I just got a Transalp 750 , the fastest bike I've owned yet. I'm sure plenty of riders will laugh, but I don't want anything quicker. It takes nothing to accelerate from 30 to 70 in a blink. It's so much easier to go fast on it that I've been re-calibrating my brain to how it feels, consciously slowing down and being chill. This machine has *plenty* of power for any situation I'll ever be in. Going triple digits on the street is insane, period. All it takes is a distracted driver or a spooked deer to jump out and you're dead. Bones break a whole lot easier than bumpers. All gear, all the time.

What the hell kind of equipment is there if it's +40 degrees outside, like now in Turkey, you won't last even 5 minutes in it. There is a big tragedy in Russia right now with the loss of Moto Tanya, she was known by millions of people around the world, she has millions of views on RU-vid ... and you are laughing here.

You need to work on your definitions. It’s not murder to have an accident unless you are purposefully causing it (and then it’s not an accident anyway). There is gear for warm weather. You bring water to stop and hydrate. The rest of what you’re saying about the theft of the equipment by the other biker needs citation and not just your say so. She was a clout chasing social media entity, like thousands of other young girls just like her, she’s already replaced. Get over it. She didn’t change your life.

The biker which was behind her and ended up hitting her was at fault, he did not slow down when Tanya did, seeing a truck in front of them. Mysteriously, camera from Tanya’s bike disappeared.. She never got on a bike without it… Now the Turkish blogger that hit her is facing prison as he was at fault, however, he is stating that it was Tanya that caused an accident… Very very sad - Tanya left behind 13 year old son 😥😥 Rest in peace Moto-Tanya ❤

I’m a former highway patrol officer and I ride a Harley. I ride with a mate ( also a former LEO and he rides a Harley too) and we’ve done countless rides and time together cruising on our bikes over the years. We know each other’s riding style, constantly call road conditions to each other through our helmet intercom and take it easy and within the limits. Then there are the clowns out there - young riders on bikes that are way too powerful for them doing Mach 1 on public streets and treating public roads like track days. My mate and I call them ‘statistics’ as they fly past us (statistical data on accident trauma is pretty clear on who will ultimately have a very bad day, one day). Speed and driver error through lack of experience combined with unpredictable road conditions is a sure recipe for a very bad day involving serious injury, paralysis or death. In service I’ve attended way too many fatal accident and I walk up to the crash scene and predict the age of rider before even seeing what’s under a helmet ( if there is a helmet still on the head or head attached to torso) and more often than not I was spot on. Young dudes under 30 taken way too early. Leave that riding style for the track and take it easy on the public roads and you might just get to enjoy riding your motorcycle well into retirement. PS. I wouldn’t put too much stock in the value of an inflatable vest as that’s not going to do zip in minimising the internal organ injury trauma and arterial ruptures from hitting a stationary object at high speed - in fact it might act to give a false sense of being bulletproof just because you’re wearing it. But any PPE as a rider helps.
@DeanoOBannon

Most likely the driver is distracted with texting and is not even looking. However, you want to use everything to your advantage. Hi viz is not a color found in nature and is irritating to the human eye so it stands out over any other color. Whenever I see a rider with hi viz is stands out like a sore thumb. Nothing will keep you 100% safe but you want to use everything to your advantage. I like to use sound with my exhaust or my horn before I pass cars so they can hear me even if they are not looking.

Bro, great channel I’m a biker of 30 years. But then again, I see myself in these younger dudes that ride crouch rockets, and I think to myself thank you god I personally believe majority of errors happen from bikers not car drivers.

Great video👍I'm 40 years old and last year I did get a electric bicycle which feels like a small cc motorcycle(I never ridden a motorbike)and I love it😂I had two crashes-on the roundabout- lean to much-no major injuries,second was yesterday-I didn't make through the corner😢my leg is a balloon😂I'm about to do my A2 licence and was thinking of 500cc-after those little errors I'm going to get 300 or 350. Any recommendation for a comfy motorbikes 4long travels?No problems with old model's. Greetings from Poland and stay safe.Sorry bout my English I'm still learning.

Hi from Canada! I bought my motto guzzi v🎉85tt travel almost 2 years ago. 25 years ago I had honda night hawk 650cc,had to sell it but really liked that motorcycle. I love my guzzi but think that I should get smaller motorcycle although not anymore. You have to ride safely and think that everybody wants to get you, called "invisible riding". Electric bicycle still rides differently than full motorcycle. As you described your accident that you lean to much most likely you could do that on motorcycle more safely, bigger tires had more grip compared to bicycle, most likely you were having too much speed. I think you should check Royal Enfield 650cc adventure model, honda cb500x adventure,Suzuki V Strom 650cc, kawasaki Versys-x300 up to 650cc, Yamaha starts from 250cc up, also new honda transalp 750cc. I think you should get your license first and then go to different motorcycle dealerships and just sit on motorcycles you think you like it and find out which one suits you the best. Even better take a demo for short rides and see how you feel about them. When I sit on my guzzi I new right away that it is my bike, almost felt like "talk to me". I'm 68 now and love it every day I can ride, don't get speed into your head, enjoy riding and learn as much as you can, riding motorcycle 🏍 is dangerous mostly because of other riders especially cars drivers. I notice that now I am much better car driver because on motorcycle I can see how much shit especially car drivers pull off. Powodzenia w zakupie motocykla I szerokiej drogi 😊 .

I fucked my foot up last weekend going 10 mph in a turn. Thank God I had gear. I go in for surgery tomorrow. Stay safe out there.

A fast bike can't be seen from a back view mirror of a car until the last moment and not every driver had a fast reflex, the pain from a crash will come back when you are old

I totally agree with your take on the safety aspect... I ride nowhere without full gear. The speed is for open hwy only, and I am guilty of that from time to time.

I have a question I purchased a helmet but the cheek pads are too tight also did the correct measurement for the helmet size so should I change out the cheek pads?

New helmets need time to break in, if it builds a lot of pressure on your head it might be good to go up a size

CycleCruza I just Just watched this video about the tragic loss of biker Tanya from Russia and Fastlane D’s recent crash. It’s a sobering reminder of the risks we face on the road. How has wearing the right riding gear made a difference in your riding experiences? Let’s discuss the importance of gear and staying safe out there✊🙏RIP Tanya

I’ve been riding for 30 years. I ride sports bikes. Always wearing protective gear. I never delete mirrors cause do want to see what’s coming behind me without having to twist my neck. I’m a lone rider mostly. And if I happen to ride with another biker I always want to keep a good distance 🙏🏾

Hey brother great video and message 👍 Immensely sorry that lady lost her life. I've just sold all of my road bikes because of a few very close calls, some my fault some not. So now I've got a Husqvana Te511 and a KX 450F Motocross bike and I love em both. Best thing is that I can wheelie, jump powerslide all without car's, trucks and the police bothering me or trying to squash me. Happy riding brother, great message in your video
