OHHHhhhhh man I really wanna do this to my GT but I don't trust myself yet with drilling holes and DEFINITELY not with electronics. Think this is definitely what I'll do to clean up the front end.. as far as indicators go. Thank you for the video, I'll reference it later for sure.
Cool and dumb at same time...I also installed these....you don't need to open the headlight and this mess....just drill one hole and connect them to stock indicator wires simple .....
I was thinking the same, might be possible with added wires to the signals and then connecting both but one with the stock and one with the plus signals
@@balazsfrantal6406 This guy did it with the Rizoma grip signals, so it is possible to do. Very happy about that. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vnSnRsyAQps.html
Hey! Did you need any special parts from motogadget to mount the mirror and blaze together at the bar end? I am gonna do the same setup but wanted to make sure! Thanks!
The bars are swaged down on the right side insert making it hard to get out, that's on an Interceptor anyway. Not sure about the Throttle side but that's a good tip about the hole in the bar under the Throttle tube.
Good video. Thanks for the info. Im thinking about doing this to my GT650. Now that its been a while since you did the upgrade how do you like them? How have they held up?
Those look awesome! The weights on the handle bars have been completely removed. Can you confirm that there are no differences in vibrations after you installed these?
Hi, i have got the 2024 year model and the latest led bar end lights from motogadget and the motogadget relay , the flasher relay comes with just a single red and then a black wire not sure how to use it any references ?
We didn’t use the Motogadget relay, so not sure and don’t want to give you the wrong advice. We ended up buying a relay from Amazon ($10 or less) and replaced the stock relay with it, and it’s been working just fine.
hows the handling without the barend weights ? i used solder connector for all parts on my gt650 . its just a transparent shrink tube with a solder core . so when you heat it up it shrinks and solders the inside .
Did you find it exceptionally difficult to fit the medium sized rubber spacer into the bar? I got my bars from Indian Aftermarket and I am starting to wonder if the bar is actually machined to have a 17mm opening. I can only get that rubber piece into the bar maybe a quarter of an inch before I start to feel like I am risking breaking the turn signal.
No, the medium sized rubber spacer wasn’t difficult to fit into the stock bar. I believe the kit comes with a smaller size also, that one might work for you?
I know this is a late reply, sorry. It didn't flash like crazy, but it did start to flash irregularly. We just got a relay off of Amazon. I didn't make a video for that install, but it was fairly simple.
We actually removed the rear indicators and replaced them with an LED strip light (brake with integrated indicators). Im planning on making a video on that soon to show you up close.
AwWSuM video, O don't usually watch install video to be honest, but I really love the Blue coloured Enfield you have & the up grade was well worth it, so cool - yes Gettin rid of those yellow blinkers.... tidied up the look.. AwWSuM 😁✌🏻 Next😉 what about the yellow reflector on the forks?🤔✌🏻😁 Cheers 🍺🤙🏻
Why did you leave the rear indicators on the bike? The idea is that the bar end indicators replace the fronts and rears as they can be seen from either place.
We ended up removing those after this video. Still added an led strip brake light with integrated signals. True it’s not needed, but at the same time don’t mind having any extra visibility (even if just a little).
i think you will need a flasher relay if you got the older m-blaze disc , the new ones have a resistor internaly for 330 khz . also you could have used the original indicator connectors . good job there , now you just need another headlamp bracket .
These are the 330 khz, but every once in a while the right indicator did have some irregular flashing. Installed the flasher relay and seems to be working now. 🤷🏼♀️ Headlamp bracket is on the list!
How are you? I am from Argentina, and I did the same job on my Continental. I took off the counterweights and now after 30km my hands go to sleep. How did you handle this situation? Happen to you? The video is very good! Greetings!
Hey there. This is the one I bought: www.amazon.com/Yeeco-Flasher-Adjustable-Motorcycle-Indicator/dp/B07TFG9791/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=yeeco+flasher&qid=1594688582&sr=8-1
