For removal and installation of the rear wheel I always turn the bike upside down….much easier having gravity helping to reinstall!

couple of things he said he needed some lithium grease in the beginning but didn't put any on the gears before reassembly, then when he fitted the rear wheel he put the axel in upside down so when the cable come out the axel it will angle upwards so any water running down the cable will go into the hub. the cable must bend downwards first so if water comes down the cable it drips off instead of going into the hub. he also failed to fit a plastic cap over the ned of the axel to protect the cable coming out of the hub, and he's a warranty guy for volt!

You'll notice I mentioned "If your motor is high mileage". This one was not. Factory grease was still very much intact.

Put 10 N.m of torque and stripped half the screws on the cover. Guess I’m never getting it off again.

Great video thanks Ryan. I have a Yukon 750 limited and I’m wondering if there is any of those gears that will give me a bit more low end torque? Seeing how my vision isn’t great witch causes me to go slower but then when it comes to some hills it’s like the motor gives up or just pokes a bit and says I’m helping 🤣.

Thanks I’ll try it out when it warms up a bit because no point in wrecking the battery in -20 + unless it’s my quick grocery shopping day thanks for the reply

Oh yea and I just went out to test those settings changes and by doing that my headlight won’t stay on any time I’m doing climbing so thanks for trying but seeing where I’m going is so much more important at least at night. And I think my next bike if I’m able to is going to be a mid drive even for commuting but mor for play is what I need that power for.

I don't have the confidence , tools or a bike stand to be able to work on my Voltbike like that. I wish I could send my whole back wheel to the Voltbike warehouse or unscrew the motor and send that in so I could have the core replaced. Pretty sure there's a loose magnet in there or the planetary gears are getting worn. Its making some nasty noises :-(
