I would love to know how to do this properly. About a year ago I got some very large dents in the back of my work truck. I took the vehicle to a repair shop and was quoted thousands of dollars to repair the damage. I went to an auto supplies shop, purchased some dent repair tools and managed to tap all of the dents down to a couple of minor scratches. I took the vehicle back to the same repair shop and they patched up the remaining scratches for a few hundred dollars.
