I’ve never run into that with all my highway driving across this great country. One time though, I had a semi pass me in my wife’s Honda Odyssey (family vacation to the east coast) and it’s trailer was spitting pieces of retread all over the place. On another vacation with just my wife, I had a tire spit off the front of an old GM mobile home coming towards us and bounced over us. Moral of the story, don’t go on vacation with my wife and I.

Those bike engines take quite a beating . Some guys think it cool to rev the engine in neutral to the limiter . Scary the way things are going there should be more bikes blowing up in the future , Because everything is getting cheaper costing more .

Rider was lucky someone did not get hurt, including himself. That could have done some serious, or deadly damage to the rider. If the rider gets his leg spontaneously amputated on the interstate, there will be no need to run lights and sirens on that ambulance. He will bleed out by about the time the bike stops.
