I had that noise also, and one of my mufflers was just twisted a little and they realigned it and the noise went away

Maybe it is rare, but please ride on the left tire lane, NOT THE MIDDLE of the lane, where oil and debris tend to end up from traffic passing daily... AND I also have the '17 RK, after riding a '13 RG clutch is different but better, and so far , love it..

Nice review. The RK would be an ideal bike for me when the time comes to replace my XL1200. What are your thoughts on the stock seat?

Enjoyed your video. I also recently purchased a 2017 Road King and have 700 miles on it. Regarding the tendency to stall after the rear cylinder has shut off idling at stop lights, I have not noticed the problem. The rear cylinder seems to kick in as soon as I start up from the light. I did add a high flow air intake and Rinehart 4 inch pipes as part of the purchase with fuel remapping and do not know if that would make a difference, as I never rode the bike with the stock intake and pipes.

I chose the Rinehart 4 inch because I did not necessarily want louder, but found the lower pitch rumble much more pleasant to the ear than the stock sound. Fortunately the dealer had an open house where the different exhaust manufacturers put their slip-ons on touring bikes at the dealership so I could compare sounds of the different brands. I thought as long as I am going with better exhaust air flow, I would put the High Flow Screamin Eagle on the intake. That made a remapping mandatory.

I'd like to know what your opinion is of the stock seat.

For some the stock seat is great, for me it is just okay. A lot of it depends on your size and "shape" LOL. I have considered getting a new seat for long rides, but I have not had a chance to try any out yet. On longer rides, my lower back feels it a little and my butt falls asleep. I have to stop stretch my legs every 2 hours. I think highway pegs would also make a difference since they would give an additional foot position. I am intending on getting those in the next month or so.
