You can not monitor a Lithium battery by it's voltage as you would a Lead Acid battery. I monitored mine via a Smart Shunt. The way it works is that once your battery is full, ie no longer accepting a charge, you tell the shunt the size in ampere hours of the battery, and then it measures how much current has gone in or out and then calculates how much capacity you have left.

Thanks for the info :) Yes, I know that a smart shunt would be the ideal but as we are changing the van I don't want to spend the money. I't not ideal to look at voltage but it does give an indication. The way the BMS is set up is relies on voltage of the cells to "sense" the percentage full so if each cell is at 3550 mV then it's at 100% (3550 X 4 cells = 14.2V ) or maximum allowed voltage. It'll still deliver a nominal 12 volts until it has no more to give. Unlike a lead acid type battery which does not deliver a consistent voltage. See my earlier videos when I ran a 800watt microwave from a 2kva inverter and 2 X 100 Amh lead acid batteries. Those batteries screamed for help LOL...
