Ramses,the kits will be available after January,i have the prototypes being tested by some riders in different parts of the United states,in different environments,to make sure they will hold up. They should be right around $175 including the 12 volt battery and battery bag.
I have been looking into this type of set up for several years. I build or modify the parts I need for my bike builds. I also make my own PCBs for the electronics I use. What I would like to know is where can I get the motor to use as a generator that will put out 15V DC. Or would you sell the motor/gen separately ?

Will I have a bt80 w/ elect start, so I have a battery already, and an connection for lights. Do you/can you sell the kit without the battery, and bag?

Did you try using the bikes magneto as a power source. I just have 2 wires coming from mine with no white wire, so I use a bottle dynamo. I get worried about the bulbs blowing since it was only supposed to run 6 volts at peddling speeds.
I was working on a charging system for the 2 stroke that's totally independent from the stair coil, but it's been shelved for now as I've just moved from Florida to Michigan. I will be revisiting that experiment soon, but before I packed it up, it was looking very promising. I'll be posting up in the very bright bike lights Facebook page once I get rolling again in the next couple of weeks.
