An update must have changed it - the photo size isn't in the settings. To get to the photo size you hit the little up arrow (carot) in the display - and the flash setting, timer, active photos and aspect ratio (photo size) appears.
Selfie hand gesture: Hold your hand still, until it sees it. It should then count down, giving you time to put your hand down. At least, that's how my devices have worked.
Thanks for a really great demo!👍 The gesture mode for the camera is so annoying! I forgot I turned it on and the camera was constantly turning on and taking pictures of feet and all sorts of random stuff that got in view of the lens!🤣😂🤣
Glad it was helpful! That line is the leveler, it basically helps you line up a shot better. You can turn it on/off in the "capture settings" tab in the camera app's settings menu

I would leave it in the regular photo mode for that, the auto lighting does a surprisingly good job of capturing things. I haven't used this specific phone in that sort of setting, but I would try it with the flash off too.

How is the macro lens on this phone? I have a elderly person who wants to take macro pictures of caterpillars. I was thinking this phone might be a good cheap budget phone to pick up for this.
With this phone it's Google Photos, should be in the Google folder on your home screen. There's no gallery app but the Google Photos app works the same way
Can someone PLEASE help me. My moto stylus 5g makes an alert sound frequently, like a short ring. I want to turn it off. It's not a new text msgs or messenger msg. What is it? How do I turn it off?
I know exactly what you’re talking about. Couple things you’re gonna wanna do - first, go to “sounds” menu in the settings and turn the notification volume (not rigntone or alarm, the third option) and turn it to zero. The second thing is to go to the “apps and notifications” menu in the settings and go to the list of notifications sent in the past 7 days and turn all those off. The noise is most likely a notification from settings or one of the apps on the phone. I have Beginner’s Guide and Tips & Tricks videos for this phone on my channel if you need to see it done too.
