I bought my dad the Moto G Stylus 2021 version a couple of weeks ago and he's really been loving it. He loves the huge screen, stylus, battery and camera. I'm glad that you have a video of it, now I can share a real review to him!

Honestly two beautiful mid-ranged phones. Perfect for somebody who isn't into the tech game but wants a phone that has some of the features or can't afford the big ones. Good to see more companies out there too, they seem to have some innovative ideas too!

Hey Flossie, thanks for another awesome phone review. I've had both of these phones, and upgraded the 2021 to the 5G. A solid daily driver... Not the best specs but I put this thing through its paces and it keeps up. Solid battery life too.

I purchased the 2020 Moto G Stylus on sale for $149 late last year as a backup, and as Floss would say "Scumbag activities" phone. It's works great and has become the phone I use more on a daily basis over my more expensive "Flagship phone." In fact when my "main" phone crapped out on my unexpectedly my Moto filled in and kept me rolling

Nokia and Motorola are the true OGs. They have interesting history!!!

I have a moto g stylus and I love it. Had for a year so far. Dropped it numerous times and it got in water and still works without lag. Not a single scratch on the screen. The stylus pops out on its own when it drops but other than that its basically built like a Nokia brick. Ived dropped it on concrete and linoleum and tile. All good.

I've had the g 2021 for about 3 mos. and I LOVE IT!! Bought brand new and didn't pay nearly that much. Mine was under $200. Great vid Flossy. Good comparison.

These phones remind me of the LG stylo phone which were awesome phones for your kids they loved having a stylus. The LG stylo 4 was actually a great budget phone

Dunno if it's addressed in the video or if anyone knows of it or if other phones have it too but this phone has some cool gestures/features where you can do a twist motion twice fast (like corner to corner diagonally and it will activate the camera. And shaking left or right twice makes the flashlight turn on. Also pulling the stylus out before unlocking will automatically bring up a notepad. Very handy for jotting down some quick things

Have to compliment you on your videos I legit watch each one and one of the main reasons is that you go in depth about the sound quality on phones which other reviewers don't they barely touch base on it so thank you

I been buying Motorola Phones for the past 2 years and they keep improving each year. I bought 4 Motorola Stylus 5G last year around July 2021 and till this date, they still work like New

My first Motorola coming from Apple was the Motorola one. Solid white with the silver metal around the edge. I still have it it was a real beauty of a phone. I have the edge plus now. So happy with Motorola.

You through more information about these 2 models then the 49, I watched before and they definitely did NOT have your charisma 100! Keep it 100K Flossy Carter. You sold me on the 2021 and the case. I picked up an unlocked 2021for $199 on Amazon while the 5G version was $349. That was a no brainer for $150 less. There is only spotty 5G coverage in my suburban area anyway. Thanks for the informative and always amusing video.

Good looking Floss. I recently copped the 5G after losing my LG stylus 6. Not missing it really! Anyway, I noticed that with boost mobile they only have it in 4 gig ram w/ 126 gig rom for $300. I'm pretty sure that the 6 gig w/256 is a bit faster but I can't complain. Nice phone, not mad. Rock on Floss and Shoes!

I looked up tests of the snapdragon 678 and 480 and the 480 is the heavy baller surprisingly!

I'm glad you did those two together because it so happens I've been deciding between those two exact phones. My Moto One Zoom is not Volte compatible and I'm being told it will stop working in February and must buy a new phone. These are the main ones I've been looking at.

I have the 5G. Coming from using Samsung flagships, it's a pretty good phone. I'm sure I'll eventually run across a feature that I miss, but I think I can get used to not having. All in all, this is a good solid phone if you're on a budget, or in my case, the phone you're after isn't available

I love Motorola. I have the razor flip and it just got android 11. Which always so much more use of the external display such as watching RU-vid on it and lots of other stuff as well. And todays midrange specs were yesterdays top specs and honestly with the spec on these phones I doubt you will suffer any performance issues unless you go looking for it. Maybe a new game with PS5 type graphics? But day to day activities these will always be smooth as butter

Awesome review Flossy. Do you think there is a difference between the phones cameras due to the different processors? The 480 has a different ISP and I wondered if that would improve photo quality even though they have the same camera.

I've been on Note 9 since 2018 and really been struggling with what I'll move to next - right now I think this is the leading contender

Thanks for an excellent video of both phones. I just moved from my Galaxy Note 8 to the Moto G Stylus 5G and am rather satisfied with it. It's of really good quality (calls, connectivity, build), it's certainly fast enough for me, outside photos are good enough as well. Battery life's absolutely phantastic for such a big screen and in everyday use it lasts easily 36-48 hours. But I miss the sharpness of the Amoled display, particularly of the fonts, which are less readable for my middle aged eyes, and the warmer colours similar to the colours of the G Stylus 2021. I tried various settings tweaks (eg under Display and Accessibility) and have been looking for simple themes. All to no avail. Any hints and tips to change the cool white background colour without having to turn to dark mode?

another advantage with 5g is the stylus doesn't have to go in one way, got the 5g at best buy for 349 open box in perfect condition and loving it.

My man you did a great job with this video and it's very smart that you did both phones because they are very much alike but at the same time when you do both phones like that people can see the comparison most times when they go to buy a phone they want to know what's the difference why is this $100 more what does it do that it's $100 more you pretty much broke all of that down which was great.
