Yea it's like all the Mitsubishi's from early 2000s disappeared I seen 2 on the highway in 2023 and my brother has a 2003 GT model and I've seen 1 Diamante on the road last year. But eclipse has potential if you modify the V6 model
@@ragingbull94mtx yeah, the 2.7L v6 in the Tiburon gets a lot of hate but a 5 or 6spd V6 model with bolt-ons a, made it a peppy little car. Once you throw on a supercharger, it's definitely a sleeper!
This era might have been peak US Galant, Diamante and Montero/Sport (although those models all probably peaked in other generations outside the US), but this is hands down my least favoritr Eclipse generation. It seemed cheap and lazy, and a total poser car. And of course this was a very rough era for Mitsu at the corporate level.
