Best 4 door performance sedan out there. I have a 2019 and absolutely love it. Car is bulletproof. Sure an M5 or E63 has the AWD for a better launch. Appearance wise the Caddy blows them away. Has that sinister look especially in black with the carbon fiber package.
I love my ctsv....so much that I bought an extra supercharger to put on my ls3 in my nova!!!....and those 19" Michelin supersports are not cheap, I run the same tires on my cls550
I do wish in the future that Cadillac start using exclusive to Cadillac engines in their cars.... Growing up it was cool to hear Cadillac and Northstar V8 in the same sentence now it's more of a corporate thing now.
+keri ellerbe oh they are doing just that, in fact Cadillac specific engines are being engineered and developed as we speak. Cadillac has its own team of engineers and the company is being positioned away from GM corporate siblings. www.motorauthority.com/news/1097854_cadillac-to-get-new-unique-v-8-despite-talk-of-the-v-8s-death
+To The FloorThis is called a press release. Cadillac brought the Motorweek crew to Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI to have them give it a try. Thus, they weren't in their home base in Maryland with the proper 0-60 mph and 1/4-mile times. In addition, they spent more time with CTS-V more than the ATS-V. The ATS-V has a twin-turbo V-6, the same amount as the CTS V-Sport. Note: that CTS-V is awesome with that supercharged V-8, but MW, please give the ATS-V some love, will ya?
M DOSD Motorweek NEVER says track test. Only road test and they include instrumented tests in most of them. They should not say road test unless they have full instrumented testing included IMHO.
Wondering what Caddy would do against rivals like Beemer's Ms (3/4) and the new Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio. What's sure, is that it's gonna be more like it. That's what I call a comparison!
CTS-V $85,000 USD ATS-V $61,000 USD Thats a lot of money!!! I could never afford a new car. I will never spend more than $5000 for any vehicle that I use. I work hard for my money just to eat and pay for bills. Not willing to work myself to death to pay for luxury products in my life. Unless I hit the Lottery. LOL
i think the ats-v was barely mentioned, this was a terrible video. i dont know why they didnt take the time to split it up. it was 90% about the cts-v...
Personally it looks way to aggressive! The Bmw m5 looks just like every other 5 series, and that is why I love it, it is understated, it is a "sleeper". Only die hard motor enthusiasts would understand the m badge, to everybody else it is just a bmw. I hate cars that have to shout "look at me, look at my carbon fiber everything and all of my scoops and huge spoiler". The m5 is great because it doesn't shout "look at me", also I personally thing the twin turbo 4.0 v8 in the m5 is one of the best engines put in a car, yes it doesn't sound that great, and it has a better transmission then the cts-v.
