i think so. happy with the end result and hope to do a few long dirt road runs. charging the camera gear now so i might actually put that into effect tomorrow. all the best
I do like this bike as I have said before, these new tyres make it look awesome. I am sure this will sale across the terrain you intend to ride. Looking forward to it.😊👍🏍
Looks great Warro! That combination is only because they don’t have a 19” front probably works out best for you. Will be interesting when you’ve really given them a workout both on road & off road 👌
These bikes, with every review I have seen (MANY) just look to be brilliant. And a bargain. Warro, I reckon your set up now is perfect. Thanks mate. Cheers from NZ.
i think so. plus its the best value bike in australia and well ahead of the others. its a really good ride and i think its near ready for some good dirt runs on backroads over the next few months. all the best!
Hi Graham, I've now ridden my new 250SX, and you were spot on. A Bloody GREAT bike ! 👍👍👍 The windscreen sucks as you said. My tininus is now ringing loudly in both ears. I did look at the handbook at the Dealer to check the running in revs, but I could not read the dim speedo display with the tinted visor on that helmet. So I did over the 5,000. Closer to 7,000 to go 80 kph in 6th, I reckon now. I don't think that hurt it much going by you flogging the yellow one up to 100 on the first ride out day. The display is OK with my other helmet that has a clear visor and a small retractable tinted one. The wind blast was better with the first helmet which had a peak which helped deflect some wind. Surprised the services are at a low 5,000km and a check of the valves with every service. Does this bike have a Royal Enfield Classic motor too ? Must have lock nuts on the adjusters, not shims ? Did you say that you run the new tyres at 30/30 ? My bike's sticker say's 22/29 and it handles well at those pressures, though I will try a little more to see what happens, Fred.
i think the tyre guy told me he put 27f 32 rear in my motoz tyres. im happy with that as they are suppose to have strong side walls. unlike an enfield i think you can run these suzuki or hondas in at a quicker speed as i feel they are just better motors. plus i think maybe if you redlined it in the gears from scratch that may not be good but an easy approach would do no harm. either way great bike. i was on the gb350 today and it too is a very good runner
Great info and video as per usual... I have put Zeta bar risers on mine. It takes the bar about 1 inch higher and 1 inch closer to me. It is certainly worth doing as you`ll find out if you do it. Also the good thing is, you dont need to change any cables as they`re long enough. Another mod I`m just about to do, is fit Barkbusters. Barlbusters now list the Vstrom 250 SX on their website. I`m going with hardware kit part number BHG-112 and the Storm handguards part number STM00300BK. Not only will these save your knuckles in the bush, but also the levers if you drop the bike. And coming into winter now, they`ll also keep your hands warmer.
Do you mean DUALVENTURE? Best Combo for you would be DUALVENTURE front and GPS in off road direction on the rear or full set of GPS front and rear. From the tracks I have seen you ride
Any noticeable difference between the 2023 and 2024 Suzuki strom250sx? I usually buy new for the new features but I can save 1.5 grand for a 2023. Please advise.
