I am going with the Adventure rear next time. Was somewhat disappointed with the Rallz rear. Not very smooth on road and tire life was poor. The Dual Venture front is very good.
I rode on pure slicks in pouring rain on a liter bike many many twisties and never really had any issues. People talking BS like I will crash etc. You just adjust to the tyre. Surprisingly when warmed it gripped quite well even if the water had nowhere to go. Motorcycle tyre in principle is pushing water out. So if people are hamfistd with their throttle or are used to rain tyres like pilot roads then most likely yeah. But I wouldn't put too much focus on these negative talks. Most people can't really ride street or trusting tyres too much, thinking they will do all the work for them. Also using incorrect pressure is a big factor. I had tyres that just by airing it up/down 0,2 bar there was a huge difference between sliding all the time and gripping like on rails. Anyway I will try it this summer on rear so will report then!
