I watched with my first girlfriend, Shelley. We were drinking some beers in the couch just digging us some Mott the Hoople. Some of the best memories of my life! Love the genius of Mott the Hoople and later Ian's solo career. That was real music back then!

Yeah ! Awesome stuff ... Ian Hunter with Mott the hoople was the best... even though I loved his first solo album with Ronson...but after that...not so much...plus "Mott-Drive on" was a pleasant surprise...but wish he woulda stayed with MTH ...😄

Always like Ian Hunters' vocals... the way he goes slower or faster than the beat , then comes right back on beat... or when it's time for the rhyme, but he doesnt. Clever boy !

Those were the best fckn days! The drugs were good, the girls were good. The war was over. And life was full of hope and faith. We didn't know how good we had it. But if we do anything before we die, let us try to put things back on track. Let us not leave the world worse off than when we got it. Even if it means helping only one person find their way. The kids are alright. Support a woman's right to choose. Support your local Union. Vote Blue '24 Peace.

Certainly, it must be Blue Weaver playing an organ, you're simply right. In 1973 he went with Mott The Hoople to support a US concert tour. Grateful, I'll pay attention to your significant thought and add this to the description.

At the beginning, of course like every singer, you're gonna walk right up to the monitor and stick the mic in it. I hate singers that don't understand his equipment. The last thing you ever want to do is aim the microphone inches from your monitor thats cranked up so you can hear yourself. These are the things that keep me up at night.
