It a toss-up between the Revelation & the MOTU Classics in terms of sculpt and articulation. The Vintage one will always hold a special place in my heart for nostalgic reasons though. I’ll try and weigh them soon.
Ok, so I bought my first He-Man figure today since I played with the originals as a kid in the 80's. It was the revelations version. Unfortunately the shop didn't have the revelations Battle Cat, but they did have the origins BC. Do you think that would work for display? I'm tempted to go back and get it tomorrow but I'm slightly put off by the fact it's from a different line. What do you think?
Target & Walmart have TONS of the Revelations Battle Cat. I would spend the extra $5-$10 for it. The articulation is leaps and bounds ahead of the Origins. The origins one frustrates me.
@@gmon78 oh, I see. If your local comic shop can’t order a Revelations one, the Origins is fine for display. You just can’t do extremely dynamic poses with it for figure photography
@@figuredepot I watched a few more videos and I think you're right. I should wait until I can find a revelations one. I love the look of the origins one because it evokes the originals 80's BC so much, but I just love the articulation on the revelations one. Thanks for the advice 🙂
