Join us for a drive up Mt Blue Sky in Colorado. The elevation is 12,500 feet to where we had to stop due to the road being closed. It was such a scenic drive and something we have never experienced @dream.plan.do.travel.
It was a great ride up the mountain. Can’t imagine doing it on a bicycle! Our hybrid vehicle was working climbing the grade… your legs would be definitely working on a bike.
Wonderful day ride to the top on a good motorcycle, did it almost annually from the late '70s thru the early 2000s, took a lot of visitors up there, many great memories. Spent a night on top during a meteor shower in the '70s, saw an amazing fireball...
Snow in June. I never would have imagined that. We live in southwestern Ontario Canada and our city rarely gets any snow. It is like we live in a bubble and have to travel to get to see the snow.
Sorry. It will always be Mt Evens, to me. Just like the people of Masa Verde will always be Anasazi. At 73, I will not change. Tired of thing being changed to make some happy.
