Mount Daniel may not be the most technical of peaks, but it sure makes up for it by having all the makings of a full Type 1 to Type 2 fun day! You get to bushwack through some trees, pop out on a ridge, cross a small glacier/snowfield, scramble up some scree, trail run to the summit, and do a few fun moves to the top of this peak where you have the most incredible view of your surroundings! Whether that be the Lynch Glacier and Pea Soup Lake below you, Mount Stuart with its impressive pyramid shape in the distance, along with the massive Mount Rainer ever present, this mountain definitely punches above its weight and I think is a must do if you're in the Peggy's Pond area off the PCT!
