Mount Escape | Upa and Other Options 

I've had 2 trainers in bjj. I'm still a white belt but will be transitioning to a blue belt after I complete and pass tie challenge. those 2 instructors I had where not as detailed an patient as you. You have good teaching skills and you have a good command of tie options and explain them real well. infact I have learned a few sweeps from one of your videos. Kim your awesome man

Thanks, the later part regarding the opponent bracing himself as you bridge, you immediately shrimp was very helpful. That was always frustrating when you go for the reverse, bridge and couldn't reverse and just went right back to the exact position. Maximum effort, zero reward, no progress....TILT. Thank you. that tip was very helpful. Now when I drill, I drill both ways.

I have been watching a few videos and I like how well things are explain and making it simple to understand.

the uke's left foot does not seem to be really trapped. there seems to be a lack of connection - a lot of slack. So the uke could slip his foot out

Nice. I hate trying to trap the lags to escape because my legs are super long.

The first reverse is my absolute go-to move. I would even offer my opponent in side control a free mount just to hit this reverse.
