Returning to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro once again. 10 year old Opal and her sister Nyla, who had reached "the Roof of Africa" three years prior, set out on an epic adventure! Trekking to the highest point in Africa as a family brought us so many long lasting memories, full of songs, music and a special bond with our friends from "Alika Africa". This would be dad's third summit of Uhuru Peak, mom's second and marked the 20th anniversary of their first climb in 2003!! We had so much fun on this trip and it was an incredible experience from beginning to end! We love Tanzania!
