Mountain Wild Camping in HEAVY RAIN
It was a brutal experience reaching out camping spot. I don't particularly have the lightest of equipment and my legs are getting old. Gaz was 2 hours behind me and caught up without breaking sweat. The weather turned an hour before reaching our destination and the rain came down very heavily. At one point my anxiety worsened, but the emotional support from Gaz and a tough mental character got me through it. Pitched up as the heavy rain continued and like the last trip, it was a short wild camping trip as it was set up, food, and then bed. Another great performance from the Light Tour sleeping mat which is now my favourite and the 3F UL Taiji handled the rain with ease!
