Forget the multi-million dollar, cutting edge vehicles that are cranking out 1200+hp, two old guys bombing down a hill on a cart that cost about 50 bucks with 70's level of safety is better.
I love how this is a big thing to these people and the community given how organized it looks. Great way to inspire some people to do something even with small funds.
Holy Cows Boys! What a fantastic run. Just can't account for someone else's accident. My heart was banging on this run. Next time they will be eating your dust!
Awesome competition, just the racers, their rigs and the road. No goofy music, no blathering announcers, just the race up close. The accident at the end was too bad, but that's racing and the whole thing was super enjoyable. I think I might mount a pair of convex mirrors, one to a side, just up in the fairing corners. That way the driver can see his overtakers and doesn't have his second constantly tapping his shoulder. Excelente publicación, gracias desde Canadá.
Yeah, their carts are great. You wouldn’t try doing this in a flimsy home made wooden jalopy with pram wheels like we used to do in England. This is seriously good fun.
Saudações do Brasil! 🇧🇷🤜🏻🤛🏻🇪🇨
Pozdrawiam Zawodników i Autora kanału. Henryk. 👏👏🙆♂️🤴🏎🏎
Just watched this again at work with some workmates, and we all enjoyed it. So tempered to enter next year. Unfortunately, we are in England :) - Keep up the videos it's great to ride along with you.
Hello César, greetings from Toronto, Canada. I am in awe of the beautiful mountain courses you have been racing on, they are all quite spectacular vistas of a bountiful Eden. Would you be generous enough to share a technical video of the various classes of karts with the world ? Wheels and tires, axles, bearings, frames, construction of the wood wheeled class, a technical description of the rule-books, etc. Wheelbase, track, tire sizes, various spindles and axles, steering gear, brakes, ( important ). Drawings and specifications, sketches, photos, videos. Appears that the rear tires are 13", the fronts 10". A detailed video with the comments about how the competitors have built their racers. The 555 appears to have a highly tilted kingpin and a lot of caster in the front axle, with a scrub radius of over 50mm. I am admiring the racer's camaraderie and mutual respect, in a very dangerous and risky sport, the competition is fierce. Bravo ! Applause. Many inquiring minds around the world await with anticipation.
@@galardoz86 Much appreciated ' galardoz86 ', I discovered the ' wood ' racing cars several years ago, viewing many downhill races, but haven't found this build video in all that time, strangely. Thanks again. An exciting sport, very dangerous, be safe. Working now on a steel / balsa / plywood design, sure to be a champion. lol :)
Respekt, super rennen. Grüße aus good old Germany 🇩🇪
