I have just started watching you. But i really enjoy your videos. And I have shared it with a couple people. You are real. It is not easy to be a mom, it is not easy to be a homesteader or agriculture in general, and it is not easy to homeschool. And you have been real about it all. Thank you for sharing your journey.

THANK U, THANK U, THANK U for respecting your children's privacy & individual desires to not be blasted all over youtube. It is the #1 thing that I respected about your channel right from the get go! Its one of the main reasons my husband & I made a pact with each other to never have FB. & I get asked all the time to do a yt channel, but MY kids do NOT want to be represented in that. But, they are a huge part of our household, obviously! So I have never figured how I would get around that or justify it. So it makes me shy away. I think you do a great job, showing that they are present & so important to you, without exploiting them. I see so many channels that use their kids as props in their videos - even channels that I love. & I wonder, What will this 4 yo think about this in 10 years when they realize that they had zero privacy? I especially dislike channels that show 'parenting' techniques (like gentle parenting ones, which I don't even agree with the method, but I digress...) where they show their kids actively having tantrums & being disciplined. The Dionne Quintuplets from the 30s had a lot to say about being children on display, like zoo animals. It was very damaging. I had friends who had their KID as their profile on FB. WHY? They are not u! U are U! There are too many online bullies & predators. Do parents not realize that people search for kids in this way. To me, I give you the ultimate gold star for the way you talk about your kids (always in a positive way) and don't exploit them. that IS the correct word. Exploit. Your channel is about YOU & I am so glad that you keep it that way!
I have dabbled in content creation, I'm a Christian, a mother, a gardener, etc., and I've been watching your posts about struggling with your channel. From the outside looking in, here's what I see: nothing wrong with thumbnails, nothing wrong with general content, it looks like your viewers like the nitty-gritty kitchen content and devo content. I say, don't worry about your channel getting buried. Keep doing what you've been doing. YT promotes each video individually, according to it's performance. Maybe you hafta get over a speed bump to grow further, and that could be something small, that no one can really detect. Just keep going. ❤
I would like to know how to start homesteading. Many Christians are preparing for the worst & i wish i had a homestead to "self-sustain" in these hard times.

I found you in your homemaking content but I’m interested in all the things. However just for algorithm reasons I would recommend keeping homesteading and homemaking on one channel and homeschooling on a separate channel. The algorithm doesn’t work well when you have too many different types of content. Also not every homemaker and homesteader has school aged children or homeschools and not every homeschooler is interested in homesteading. So by keeping them separate you’ll have some people that do watch both channels and others that will watch one or the other. I definitely think you’re doing great by not showing their faces.
