Yes you can but please use ample weight such as sandbags on your plates. Also keep in mind how heavy your TVs are. New LED TVs are pretty light weight. I am not guaranteeing anything but please keep safety in mind first and foremost.

+rmietus For placing on the floor it was a list minute decision to add that ceiling wash, because the house lights were all on or all off. We didn't bring stands with us so we placed on the floor in a spot we knew there wasn't going to be a lot of traffic. You will get a better throw but have to watch out for people getting in the way. I would recommend stands to get them above any guests. We use a custom base plate and a single Trusst Glow Totem pole to mount ours. Thanks for the positive feedback. Good luck!

that all depends on the weight of sandbags you would use. I personally am not comfortable sharing that due to any flaws in people's setups coming back to me. I hope you understand.

The reason why I asked is because I'm purchasing 4 Chauvet 455Z and wanted to know with the weight of the moving head, can I use a 50" LED like you have on there (planning on weighing the back side down with like a 50lb sand bag)? Or is it better off getting the Box truss?

I see what your saying. The biggest thing is the front weight added by the TV. By putting the moving head on that creates more central weight, which will stabilize a little more centrally. I would recommend minimum 50lbs weight on the back side. It all depends on the weight of the TV as well. My 55 inch LED weighs less then my 42 inch plasma.

+djjermusic Awesome thank you. Can I use a Global Truss F33-F34 mount for TV's or only the Chauvet Trusst Universal mount? When I looked at the Chauvet Trusst, I didn't see the portion to mount on the back side (the hook looking thing) to the tv. Is it something that needs to brought separate or it comes with it? Thanks again.

the top plate still is used and you would mount the brackets on the moving head to that top plate like you would normally. The moving head is tall enough where it would stick up over the top of the screen. Does that help?

Bolts are always the cleanest and safest but if your fixtures have open handles straps are also an option. I would recommend bolts first.
