Just as you said in the beginning: Mous gets its attention from throwing the phones in the air.. why would you NOT demonstrate that? That’s why we’re here! (according to YOU!)
I agree. I've always questioned the Mous cases. Yes they show you it being thrown in the air but how many did we not see where the phone inside did break?
honestly if anyone is just uncertain. I've had one, they are.. alright at best. They are good at marketing but for the price, it's not all that but you should be some what satisfied with it.
Many Londoners have the limitless case, mine for the iPhone SE. I bought it in 2020. It is amazing, can withstand literally anything which I have tested, and looks pretty nice- although somewhat thick. My first case in Walnut started to break as the layer with the material peeled away from the bumper, I contacted Mous and they sent me a free replacement. This was after about 2 1/2 years. Ive been using the new one ever since and had no problems but I fear the separation might happen again. I hope they fixed this issue with the cases for the newer phones, even though you get free replacement - maybe a unibody design could help. However the case itself is a 10/10. Nice review! Also, to do with the thumb swipe issue, maybe they could lower the lip in the centre and keep the corners in order to make it just a bit more comfortable.
For the separation they have addressed the issue and has some interlocking technology in the 15 pro series cases. No sound on the middle lip being lowered unfortunately. Might still get it for my 15 pro
I’m surprised to see this. I have the walnut limitless 5.0 for iPhone 15pro and the layer on the bumper peels away. Contacted Mous and they are sending me a replacement.
People have bought Mous and throw phone (like iPhones) in the air for purely review videos. it takes like 30 throws / drops to finally break the phone screen display. That's the STRENGTH of Mous. I used mous because I dropped my phone a lot by accident. On the road, pavement, cement floors, in the bus, in the train. and it took me 3 years before the mous case starts to break. i definitely dropped more than 30 times. So when i see people test the durability of mous and had to throw many times to break it, i know it is legit. Those people droppe from great height, and some of them threw it down really hard. When i removed the phone from the mous casing 3 years later, people will say "is that a new phone?" because its so protected. apparently even the internals are protected as there are no hardware component issues. everything still works, camera, wifi, mobile network, charging port, speaker. it is only after i stopped using mous casing, and within 3 months with no casing, i still continue dropping the phone as per normal. and my charging port stopped charging, my mobile network stopped receiving signals.
Been rocking the walnut (3.0) on my 13pro since day one, it's truly amazing. Besides some scratches here and there (been dropped loads), it feels and looks almost brand new. Phone protection is fantastic of course. Only downside, IMO, is that it is a bit slippery in hand, something the dbrand grip solves.
@@jak2i00i I was referring to the dbrand grip, it’s another case. My mous is the 3.0, the slippery issues were solved in later versions. The magnets seem strong to me, I’m using mine in the car with a magsafe charger, no issues at all.
I would avoid ordering from Mous right now. I ordered a case, and then received an email a few days later stating that they could not honor the order (paraphrased) and they had no idea when more stock would be in. This was sent as an urgent email - asking me to select from one of the other choices (which did not appeal to me). My response was auto-replied, stating that they are overwhelmed and will try to get back to me in 3 days. I'm out over $200 for case and accessories and have no idea how long it will take to get this ironed out.
Really solid review, no unnecessary filler, and the interactions with commenter's asking questions and sharing experiences is awesome. Keep up the good work!
I like what mous is doing making slim but protective phone cases but I just returned my aramid fibre because it’s too slippery in hand, just not grippy enough and the aramid fibre attracts too much fingerprints and smudges.
Had aramid limitless on galaxy s10e for well over 4 years and have lost the count of how many times I’ve dropped it a long time ago. Phone looks like new. So when I went for iPhone 15 plus, I got Mous case for it. Only the best to protect my phone
Cool video Aaron! I must admit I fell against marketing of the brand some years ago, but at the same time I figured out they make really good cases to withstand the everyday usage up and downs (literally). They quickly became one of my favorite case brands due to their solid construction and big variety of finishes, and actually the cases doesn’t look like a brick or a tactical case like there UAG and Otterbox. I noticed too that Mous is a constantly learning company hearing the complaints and comments of the people and clients and they make their cases better each gen. I’m actually rocking Mous cases, on both on my phones, and I’m usually changing the case very often, but the way they feel solid and rugged without the rugged look, always make me use them most of the time. Easily the cases I used the most, and when I’m traveling, I always take them with me on my iPhone or as my side case, but basically I never leave the city without them haha.
The case is way to slippery in hand, yes your phone will be fine if you drop it but when the phone case is the reason for when you drop it that’s a problem. If you were to drop it in a place you could not get it back. Better to get a case that is more grippy to prevent falling.
I have a iPhone 15 pro max. I purchased the UAG Monarch carbon fiber case, returned it for the MOUS walnut case. The raised magsafe design with the UAG(even tho it had strong magnets) did not charge my iPhone on 2 of my wireless chargers. It’s funny that you mentioned the weight of the walnut case, coming from that UAG, I feel like I’m gonna drop this case, due to its lightness compared to that one. This one is a little slippery though. I might invest in a wrist strap, which I always take while on vacation since most time our phones are out in our hands taking pictures.
In my opinion, I don’t think the side grips are as grippy as they could be. I’ve had cases with more, and less grip. To me, I would put this more towards slippery. Because it’s a Mous case, it’s fine.
I usually like thin clear cases (so end up with Spigen or Ringke) as I'm not a big dropper and I like to see my phone color. Bad thing about clear cases though is they yellow over time. Just another excuses to get a new case though lol.
Mous also has a clear case (Clarity 2.0) promising not to yellow AND scratch-resistant. I found out through their new video for cases for the iphone 15s I'm not sure exactly how well it works but since it's a guarantee by then, if it does yellow you can ask for a replacement.
Just my two cents- I read many excuse me. I watched many awesome Tech guys do videos about the Mous phone case and the way they spoke I thought maybe it would do my dishes, too. But no, turns out it’s a very regular case (imo). I bought one and it is so slippery that there is no way in. Heck I can keep it. It slips right out of my fingers every second I touch it. I’m going back to Otterbox as much as I wanted to be cooler.
the peakdesign accessories use different organization of magnet so using those to say they r not strong is not really accurate. Mous magnet design is to use with apple magsafe product so if he would have tested apple accessories the result would have been different
@@Nomads.Nation if you dont mind a bulkier feel, these cases are by far the strongest. Not even close. I myself test dropped one off my balcony and 0 damage. Irregardless, doing a mous vs otterbox vid is a good idea seeing as how otterbox has always been the industry standard and now that mous is getting bigger, that vid would do well
@Nomads.Nation pop socket being something to hold onto ur phone, you attach it to the back and it pops out, used to either hold onto the phone or prop it up
@@Nomads.Nation definitely check them out I read and heard that they have like the grippiest phone case out there. Also it is spelled like this: dbrand. It would be cool to see how they compare to mous and the other recommendations you gave in this video
Just started using this case - it's a shame to hide all of the lovely titanium, tbh, but it's still a classy look with excellent fit and protection. I don't mind the thickness of the lips in terms of screen swipes at all, but I do wish it was overall a little thinner. On my last phone I had a minimal clear silicone and i may switch back one day. I like seeing the phone.
Does anyone know how to directly contact their costumer service? Cause its been pretty bad, my order has been sitting for 2 weeks without an update on the websites own parcel tracker, but when i used another website to track the parcel it says it has been delivered but i didn’t receive anything. Sent an email at the start of the week and still no response.
If you smash it on purpose, it will surely break. Just like people said Apple iPhone 15 easily break by applying force to break it on purpose. Even toddler know glass will break, let alone one purposely break it. Not Apple fanboy here as I own both Pixel 7 Pro and iPhone 🤣 Samsung Knights: stand down and stand by 😆
@@Nomads.Nation yes, my Mous case is still in very good condition protecting the iPhone 11. After all, nobody in a healthy state of mind wants to purposely break a $1,000.00 phone. That’s where the high quality phone case come in handy.
The case is great until it spits into two pieces. Not a one piece case second time it happens and the lifetime warranty only applies to receipts only. Disappointing as it is the second one to do it. Not dropping big bucks for this
