I had this case for my 12 pro max and loved it and had no issues with grip at all. I personally like the weight of it I’m tired of companies coming out with paper light cases that just feel cheap but are super expensive and feel like cheap plastic.

Happened upon your site trying to find reviews of Mous 5.0 Limitless for my new iPhone PM. Found it really informative and helpful. Ordered the case because of your review. Have a Torras Magnetic Guardian on it now. Like the case,buttons are great. Can change the color from yellow or red. Comes with black. I would like a little more protection. Been running the 5.0 for the 14 pm and it’s great, seems like mous is great one year and terrible to next this seems to be a great year for them. For my 12 pro max i dropped it, it landed face down on the ground the corner of the case slide off cause screen damage that was upsetting. The new 5.0 seems to fit a little more snug! Love this year for mous probably gonna have this case in my line up!

I just picked up the speckled fabric Limitless 5.0 and I love it! I think it's the best case on the market right now for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The value for the money, the changes to the buttons and inside microfiber liner, all are worth it! Personally, I LOVE the new buttons. The movement doesn't bother me at all, and I love the clicking. They did listen, and delivered ten-fold! Also, the magsafe on the fabric case seems REALLY strong. Wondering if the magnetic strength differs depending on the style of case you get from Mous.

I think the buttons on the Mous Limitless 2.0 were the best. They were fixed in place, and clicked perfectly. I’m still using an iPhone XS Max and I love the Limitless! My only complaint is how it collects fingerprints on the Aramid Fibre case. Other than that, the fit as well as design of the case is A1.

Agreed, I just got the Mous Limitless 5.0 Armid Fibre for my S23 Ultra the buttons are very loose & wobbly makes it feel cheap.. & the case picks up fingerprints way more than actual back of the phone without a case.

I had the aramid fiber case for my 14 Pro but sent it back becuase it was too slippery for me. Exchanged it for the faux black leather and it isn't slippery. I like the grips on the side and the buttons work great. Just a tiny bit of button wiggle that I never noticed until I saw this video and makes no difference whatsoever. Had the same case for my 12 Pro and liked it so much that buying this one was a no brainer.

Used my Limitless 5.0 Aramid Case on my 14 PM for nore than 3 weeks now and I’m thoroughly impressed with the grips and the new buttons. They are almost too clicky for me but I love them. Also I really like that they just use one material aroud as the bumper, whereas before they used the „bumpy“ stuff for the bumper and hardplastic for the back and a bit on the outside. This hardplastic part, picked up lot’s of scratches from drops, so I’m really happy they aren’t doing that anymore.😊 Also my buttons don’t slide around as much as yours, they seem to be just right as they don’t make any noise when shaking the phone around.

We have the 14 pros, and love the tactile buttons. Our complaint on the regular pros are the external wall around the cameras doesn’t fully surround the lenses to recess them. My clear version for the 14 pro only has it on 2 sides as well. We want the most protection available, and for the improvements they did include, this was a setback in our opinion.

So far, my Mous case has been perfect. I am coming from an 11 pro max and the limitless 5.0 is perfect. It is slimmer, it is grippier, and the buttons are so much improved from the old hard buttons. I actually don’t have the rattle with my case’s buttons. Maybe some cases were defective?

Great review! It's a fine case and I actually like the type of buttons they use. Unfortunately, it's still too slippery for my hands, probably because those grips are the same smooth material as the rest of the case. I preordered the new Dbrand Grip and I'm considering a Caudabe Sheath as an extra option. I'm quite interested how you would compare the 5.0 to the Caudabe Sheath grip-wise?

Thanks much appreciated and yeah I can see how some will feel it’s still slippery but for me it seems to be enough. Grip wise between this and the Sheath, thats pretty close but I think the overall textures of the sheath as a whole would give you slightly better grip.

Tried the benks. Buttons were far too loose for my liking. Sounded like i had loose change or keys in my pocket. The case its self was ridiculously slick. Fit and finish top notch. Loved the cut outs. Sent it back and got the mous 5.0 Mous case my only gripe is the weight and magsafe strength. I wish the speaker holes were more uniform and wish it didn’t have the lanyard cutouts. The button noises are almost nonexistent and love the tactile feel. Waiting on my pitaka pro case now.

I just had my 12 pro max stolen with walnut 4.0. I love the lanyard hole and it’s why I will buy a 5.0 for my new 14 pro max. Once I started usin that mous wrist strap there was no turning back. I’ve caught it by its tail enough times!

Thanks for the review!!! I was wondering if the MagSafe magnet strength was different between the different styles? Like is it less strong on the aramid fiber but stronger on the walnut? The buttons wouldn’t bother me as long as they aren’t glued in like the older Phone Rebel cases. I kinda like when they are a little loose because it gives it a more “clicky” feeling and I like hearing the click 😂

I would have had a mous case some time ago if it wasn’t for the back. It just doesn’t look finished to me, like using an off cut of material. Also if the buttons jiggle try using a slither of fine felt or rubber to cover the inside of the button area. My element case had that to make a fine fit and click. Thanks for the fine review Tee.

Uh oh. It seems like they were getting *so* close to perfecting their case design this time. Rattling buttons are a total deal breaker for me -- that's something that I could *maybe* live with in a $15 Amazon case but not on a $65 Mous. I also don't agree with their assessment that loose buttons and clicky feedback is an either/or thing. There's definitely a sweet-spot where you can good feedback with no rattle -- I've had several cases that have pulled it off. Rhinoshield Solid Suit, Apple Leather, and Andar Aspen all pulled off the buttons well for me. All had clicky button feedback (just like the phone itself) and no button rattle. Phone Rebel Gen 3 came close too -- feeback wasn't *quite* as good as the above though.

@@TechnicallyTee you should definitely check out the XT with the clear back. My only wish is that they made the MagSafe magnet a little stronger but it’s not terrible. For my line of work the extra protection is definitely needed. My iPhone 12 Pro Max just broke in a PhoneRebal case so i switched back to OtterBox for my iPhone 14 pro max and so far love this case. It is a little bulky but not bad considering the added protection! It looks clean! Thanks for the reply TEE!

Beautiful case. I’m glad Mous made the limitless 5.0 grippier than the 4.0. I’ve got a 4.0 for my 13 pro max and, although it protects my phone better than my Caudabe sheath, it is way too slippery. I wonder if the limitless 5.0 for the 14 pro max fits the 13 pro max!

@@Ben-bj1oz yeah sure, but that’s a little unfair on the 5.0, because the gripzilla is made for grip. The mous 4.0 is identical to the 5.0 but without the grippy bits on the sides. Basically every time it’s on my phone I’ve got to be a little more careful.

Couple week later follow up. The mous case is going back as soon as i get my pitaka. Magsafe is very weak. I have the aramid fiber case and the fiber inlay is separating. Followed by vehicle wireless charge pads do not work at all with this case.

I have the case and really like it. Except for the loose buttons. When I first got it, I was worried the case didn’t fit right because of the buttons. It’s not a deal breaker but for the price I was expecting better. Now they’re saying it’s because that’s the only way they could make it and still have the super clicky buttons or whatever. But how do other cases then like say Apples own, have really clicky buttons but not feel loose? I just grabbed Apple’s leather case and the buttons are fantastic.

Love mine, feels premium. I returned my caudabe, imho, texture makes the phone feel cheap, remembered my one plus days with almost same texture. Didnt even notice the button until it was highlighted in this vid. For me button press feels very responsive. Love the feed back as well. For me, mous made the right choice with the buttons. Never had an issue pressing it and not getting the desired purpose.

I have a Mod for my iPhone 8. Got the clear buttons with black frame. The buttons are great, but the thing I didn’t like was the material. Not sure if it’s changed at all, but mine became shiny after awhile, and shows a lot of imperfections.

I’m torn on this case, I really prefer the slim profile of the Spigen Liquid Air case compared to this more bulky case. The fingerprints are also much worse on this case. I hope to compare it to the Pitaka MagEz Pro, but still waiting to receive it ☹️ MagSafe is convenient, but not a must have for me. I have 2 chargers that I can easily use my Spigen case with because they lay flat. I don’t use MagSafe in my car, just Apple CarPlay. Might return this Mous case. Does the Pitaka aramid fiber show fingerprints as bad as this Mous case? Is it thinner?

Oh boy, that looks like a dbrand grip. Please tell me that those side grips are nothing like on the grip? It looks like smoother. Dbrand is a dust collector plus, you cant get the phone in and out of the pocket.
