@@_V.Va_ Have you not seen the whole graphics backlash that's been going on the past few years, from people that don't quite understand that graphics do matter, just not in the way that they think? It's not as strongly Captain Obvious as you think in the current time.

@@_V.Va_ Graphics does include the art style, that's literally what "graphics" is, is the visual choices of the game. Realism *is* an aspect of the art style (And therefore graphics.), and an art movement, this is something you're taught in high school art classes.

That's because the first preview seemed like a pre-alpha stage of development.

Yeah the original trailer only had literal tech demo footage, with untextured maps This trailer actually looks pretty nice.

The person ostensibly said "they didn't really do anything. it's looks the same as last time we saw it" and "it's just some new maps". It was incredibly dismissive of the effort that has clearly been put into this game. A classic case of know-it-all acting like game design is easy.

Yeah! It takes what is arguably a flaw in hand-drawn animation (clear distinction between objects characters interact with and objects they don’t) and makes it a positive by making it so it shows the player what is interactable. Genius.

ULTRAKILL and Deep Rock Galactic are fantastic indie FPS. Plus Team Fortress 2 is still kicking around at 100,000 concurrent players.

You need to look at more boomer shooters my guy. They’res plenty of them around these days, new and old

Unique fps? A unique art style for a video game? Sure. A unique FPS? No. This is just doom or wolfenstein or any other boomer shooter from the 90s. (Minus the detailed 3D graphics)
