Lube the Mousse Balls haha. I did the Tubliss system for a little and never had any luck. Went back to a HD tube and much happier.

Hello Porkchop, You should always do whatever gets you out in the woods for throttle therapy.

I’ve been using the Mousse Balls in the front wheel only. With a Nitro Mousse Plushie in the rear. This works best for me. Adjustable front and 6 psi feel in rear.

I bought a set of these and used the entire set for the rear, like the feel for hare scrambles and no more worries of flats. Jury is still out on how I like the front.. used the whole set there too and feels really washy when being pushed hard so I added 2 more, anticipating I’ll end up adding the 3rd.

I have used mousse balls switching from standard mouse. They lasted 16 hours on single track before I had to add more. i now use heavy duty tubes with tube saddles. Much less maintenance and cost.

Hello Sir: If mousse balls or regular mousses fail or reduce size in 16 hours, the problem was created during installation. Heat is the killer of mousse products. Incorrect sizing, incorrect lubricant or not enough lubricant are the common problems. Your current set-up is extremely heavy which creates a major downgrade in handling.

@@slaverace1 Maybe. I used a lot of lube. Tube saddles are very light and the heavy duty tube is much lighter than mousse.

The Tube Saddle website no longer works. Are they still in business?

Jeff, the way to achieve desired pressure is by taking balls out, leaving space between them. The only negative I see and more than likely why you're drilling instead if they move all together and leave and empty space in one spot on the tire.

Hello: Removing balls to make it softer does not make sense to me so I chose to drill them.

@slaverace1 That's hard to grasp... Think of em as springs.. 20 springs per tire = 12psi. 18 springs = 11psi. That's the jist My rears I've been running for a year. 1 tire a month. Had to add my last extra moose.. so I'm +3. From where I started. Fronts got small pretty fast comparatively.. they lasted about 6 months before shrinking too much. Hope ya like em.

I recently had to reinstall my Nitro Mousse’s and did it on a day it’s was over 90 degrees and humid. I put the lube all around the inside of the tire and before I could get the mousse in slime was dripping all over the place. I should have seen this video earlier. I thought I was in the Alien movie.

I use a mousse on the rear and tube on the front don’t get what mousse balls achieve 👍

Strange that most people like air in the front. My experience so far is that I kind of like the mousse feel more on the front than air.

Agreed I went back and forth in the front . Nitro bib absorbs the chatter and sharp hits better. Softish set up for me better grip everywhere and still better rim protection to plough into rocks Ideally I’d like a slightly expandable mousse with a small tube in the middle. As it shrinks add more air . Or air up n down for conditions

Here in Colorado we get "Pinch Flats" on the front tire if we try to ride too fast on the trails. All you need to do is hit a rock a little too fast and pop lol!!
