Glad it helped Lucia :) Yes, too many labels out there - at the end of the day, and especially when as experienced as you are, it's about making your own soup, taking the best of each world!
😂😂😂 thank you! You made me laugh so hard. Movement didn’t exist before ido… ❤!! All dancers know flying low and passing through, now there’s fighting monkey(pulling on strings and swinging around weights are added here to the throwing Tennisballs around), soft acro, flow art….ah and don’t forget play fight! It’s all floor work, locomotion and movement. If it’s more artistic it’s dance. Sometimes with acro elements.
All useful detail. From my own experience I would emphasize the need to be clear about need for foundation work in mobility and strength and for that a course is good. That will also give you a sense of whether you are “course suited”. Then I like the idea of finding people who exemplify who want to become and then check for courses that they or similar people offer. If your aim is more expressive rather than a set of skills (i.e. more like dance and less like calisthenics) then I think it’s important that you try to add the second side of the barbell with every single movement you learn. That is, if you are squatting try to add dynamics and tempo changes and “timbre” to moving up and down, to hip position and knee angles etc. Speaking as a beginner, I think that vision, clarity about where you are in your progression, patience and consistency are most important. After that, hope for a good teacher!
I've seen your videos show on my youtube a bunch I'm enjoying the choreographic. You are talented and got a sick style. I know it might be hard to find good music to dance to but you can use my music as long as you put my socials in the bio. Would love to see one of my favorite dancers get down to any of my songs. Hi Vincent, when I get to the page, the courses are not clickable, maybe it is due to upgrades, I will try again in a few hours. As always thanks and you are awesome!
