Nice video! The original is easily the best. I have never been so uncomfortable watching a movie until I saw the first TCM. I have never seen the next generation, leatherface, or part 3. From what I've seen I would rank them: 1. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) 3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) 4. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) 5. Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013)

Just finished binging your entire playlist... Find myself disagreeing with you a lot, but just can't get enough of that enthusiasm lol Subbed for sure. Anyways, it'd be pretty sweet to see you do videos for Planet Of The Apes and Star Trek. Death Wish, too. Also second all the guys asking for Phantasm and Evil Dead.

I liked this review and all, but some info you gave seems a bit incorrect. -Part 3 was the first reboot. They wanted to establish a new family since everyone died in part 2. And really it could have been a better movie had the ratings board not ripped it a new one. -The production crew for Part 7, in order to shoot the opening scene, went threw the original movie, sited every detail they saw, they asked the original actors for info, and even took measurements from the original house (which was moved and converted into I think a cafe). They did everything they could to replicate the original house. I really don't know how you can say they don't look anything alike. -Part 2 may have had a sub par story, but it made up for it with the amount of gore. And it originally had a sub plot, where Hopper's character finds out the main female character is his daughter. That makes the movie a family vs family film. -(this is just a personal gripe) How can you even mention Part 4 and not mention Matthew Mcconaughey's robot legs? That is the only thing I can remember about the film. -In part 5, she goes back to get the baby so that it isn't raised up to be one of the murderous family members. Those are the major things I noticed. Other than those things, I really liked the over view.

If you are going to do a really long movie franchise like Godzilla either just break it up into parts or just do a movie series where you do each individual movie just like you do in the actor or director series you do.

3d sucked except the 1st 5 mins

Actually like Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation quite a bit. I mean, it's excellent riffing material, and I can remember more lines from that than a few of the other sequels. *to the guy that snapped a dude's neck and now chases you in a truck* "Stop it, mister, you're scaring me!" "I'm just gonna kill ya, it ain't no biggie... but it's different for every individual" "Why are my batteries not charged?" Also think the family's more overtly psychotic than, say, the Platinum Dunes family was shown to be. Ermey's character was certainly crazy, but the rest kinda seemed like they could've been normal people before eating people. Ladies talking about iced tea when there's a girl tied up under the table's one thing, but some dude quoting Machiavelli and a girl resorting to cranial bomb talk to sound sane is another when it comes to having the viewer wonder what the frick is going on with these people. You also mention the omission of cannibalism. While it's never explicitly stated that they eat their victims, and the wife does in fact buy a veggie pizza, McConaughey does bite one of the girls' faces off and presumably eats it. Great series review, though.

"Him being her protector and pet monster is okay, because he doesn't understand that he's evil" That is absolutely backward. If he doesn't understand that he is evil and that causing others to suffer is wrong, then he is not a participant in human nature in the first place, and so should not be regarded as such, and should be destroyed for harming anyone in the least, as he is no more a participant in human empathy, no more relevant in terms of regard for others, their lives and their suffering, than is an inanimate object or a reptile.

It would be cool to see that you do a timeline on the TSM Texas chainsaw massacre and see how they are related to the New movies by relation

heyy man if your confuze about the family thing here how it is 1974- the sawyer family remake (2003) hewitt and since texas chainsaw 3d and it was a direct squeal to the 74 version so they had to go with the sawyer family

You also forget there’s also leatherface that is The prequel over all the Texas chainsaw mask or films so I don’t know if you ever have done no internal logical order now by release date. I would like to see you to make a video on the continuity and the timeline that they are in Masselin that I would like to see can you do it for me?

The original is the best by far and really Part 3 Leatherface is the only good serious sequel and part 2 was meant as a joke. and the remakes and reboots were horrible!
