See, the England World Cup winning side not only great footballers like Bobby Moore, Charlton brothers, Martin Peters, Geoff Hurst, and a workhorse named Alan Ball, and the rest of the heroes of 1966, England had a marvellous manager in Alf Ramsey. That man was a deep thinker of the game, and he knew how to convince his players to go out there and show the rest just how good England can be. Will we ever see another England manager guide the national side to win a tournament? I was four years of age when England lifted the World Cup, nowhere near interested in football that far back then!

I am English ... so I want to see England Win Something as I was only 15 months in 1966. In 1976 the full match was shown on British T.V. again to mark 10 years of the Home World Cup Finals and England's "so called" win. As an 11 year old then, I watched it for the first time ... no home video recorders then! I want to focus on the "so called" extra time goals. FIFA rules say, The Ball has to be Fully over The Goal Line for a Goal to be given ... The ball was Not Fully over The Goal Line. FIFA rules say, Play will stop when the pitch is invaded ... on the t.v. and Path'e film footage, you can see supporters on the pitch when Jeff Hurst shoots for goal. Even the B.B.C. comentator said ... "Some people are running on the pitcn, they think its all over ... It is Now" That goal should not have been given as the pitch was invaded and play should have stopped. I am an Honest Football Supporter/Observer I have supported England from being a little kid, yet from my teenage years I have always been honest and fair in my football outlook.

People criticize England. But they don't ask themselves if you have the most watched and the richest league in the world What the point of competing against players from inferior leagues same goes for the Champions League. English footballers have bigger fish to fry. How many times you see an English team lose at home? Remember its not ENglish players that go to the rest of the world. its the other way around. Football might be boring. Remember England invented the sport and are more evolved.
