Interesting perspective. Grew up with my dad in the air force, yet all of my extended family live in South Texas. After he retired my whole immediate family moved to South Texas. Wasn't a good experience for my husband and I. Struggled to make friends. Didn't really connect with family. The "get in debt to fake a lavish lifestyle." mentality that they tried to push on us really did us in too. Moved back to Alaska where my husband and his family are from and we are thriving. So much happier. I do miss the food, culture and my family sometimes, but this is the best I've ever been.
I met my husband when I was 19 and I immediately let him drive my car. 14 years later and I haven’t gotten back the keys 🤣 But I don’t care because he’s a better driver and now I’m used to being shuttled lol

Okay. I’m caught up now. Whew! Um, you just bought that dresser you abandoned at your sister’s house. You lived out of your duffle bags for a long time. Finally buy a dresser. Just to leave it! Have no idea what Wa Wa is. Don’t know what that eatery in Texas is either, because neither one of them is out here in California. Oh well can’t have everything. I can’t believe you made that drive in one shot. But I had drove like that when I drove a guy home when he got discharged from the navy. I had a van that could fit all of his stuff, not like your vehicle was. I’m sure years later you’ll recall that drive just like I just did, but I had completely forgot about doing that drive till now! Huh?

Me too. She still has a few months before her husband comes back from deployment. I’m a little annoyed Leah picked up and left in the middle of the night. Felt fast and impulsive as well as inconsiderate. And her reasons don’t seem valid as to why she did it either. “I was never supposed to be there forever” she was barely there a year.
@@lvfismfdoesn’t matter. She has no responsibility. You should blame it on her for Morgan. Morgan decided to have kids with a man who’s in the army and she knows what comes with that. This girl isn’t married or has kids she can do whatever she wants, her nephews are not her responsibility
Why?! Military spouses do it all the time without family help. Went through several long combat deployments raising special needs college with absolutely no help. I’d it easy? No but it’s really important for Morgan to figure it out on her own. There’s resources on base she can utilize if she wants and I met so many amazing people before my husband retired from the military star 23 years.
