Hey! Welcome to the second part of my moving series!
We drove (a truck) from Toronto to Montreal and finally saw our new nest after the construction has finished - honestly one of the best moments for me because ever since we signed the lease I was dreaming and imagining how to decorate the place and what furniture to buy. ^^
SO - a lot of unpacking and organizing in this video surrounded by a MESS haha, however slowly but surely this will become a beautiful and cozy apartment! Stay tuned :)

Hi, which you can save more in buying small appliances (like, airfryer, nutribullet) in Toronto or Montreal? We will be moving after few months 😅

well depending which site/store you’re buying from - but just from a sales tax perspective buying in Ontario is cheaper. :)

Curious of what sight you used to find your apartment, I’m thinking of moving here,but people are talking about how expensive Montreal is becoming

montreal is indeed becoming more expensive than it used to be. :( rent wise you can still find a decent deal, just keep in mind that taxes in QC are higher comparing to ON so for some people moving will make no difference at the end if you calculate how much you save on rent vs how much more you pay in taxes. we searched for places on realtor.ca and just google really.

What a lovely video! Curious how you found your place? Realtor? Online? Looking to make the same move and I am unsure. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much! 🥰 We did both, contacted the realtor and searched online for apartment buildings that do their own showings. :)

Question; Do you guys intend to learn french ?
@anakhodus
@anakhodus 8 месяцев назад
we’re learning French in duolingo, however since we haven’t decided if montreal is our final destination and we’re exploring other options, we don’t put pressure on ourselves to learn french as fast as possible
