Carrie!! Hi! You were my very first person that I subscribed to on RU-vid. A west coaster all my life. I was born and raised in So. CA, and utilized the transit system since 10, taking the bus to the library every Saturday. After college graduation, I secured a job in the downtown core in a high rise. My one-bedroom apartment in an older part of town was across the street from a bus stop that dropped me off a half block from my office building. I also had a Safeway and a Big Bear grocery store equi-distant from the bus stop, so I shopped every day for dinner and fresh items. Otherwise, I would meet friends for dinner or drinks and/or hors d'oeuvres [Thursday was $3.00 well drinks and some of the best hors d'oeuvres around, at a favorite "watering hole"]. I found it cheaper [and less guilt inducing] to throw produce out that I didn't use. I absolutely LOVED the "hustle and bustle" of it all! You have really been an inspiration! Your hacks have have been amazing. You have an incredible "eye" and aesthetic. Your perspective of what will fit/not fit is spot on! Your travel vlog to Tokyo was simply fascinating--informative, well filmed and edited. Sorry for being so "wordy"! It's kinda the way I roll sometimes. LOVE your little dog!! Waiting to watch you turn the page on your new chapter. 😊🐾
I've done the living solo to having a roommate change. It has been a great experience and having that person at home to bounce back ideas, laugh, and cry with is worth it. Dive in to the experience. Best of luck!
so nostalgic watching you take down everything but can't wait to see how you make your new space your new home 💗 already loving the lil sneak peeks on ig!! also i'm wearing the polka dot OV exercise dress right now HAHA love that it was the uniform for moving 😂🌟
aw haha i was definitely ready to go, but so many good memories in that little space. happy to still be in the city for now and after that...we'll see 😉
hi! for anyone who i didn't personally know, i would meet them at a walkable location in my neighborhood, or share my cross streets/nearby cross streets for larger things. super careful about giving out my actual address.
