Binge-watching cleanup time lapse videos for inspiration and motivation, and just came across yours. You did an amazing job Joshua, I love your hustle. Your mom and dad are very lucky.
As a full time mover for over 10 years i gotta say you guys did an amazing job packing that house . Yall absolutly have a TON of stuff but when you get payed by the hour thats something a good mover likes to see when he does the first walk through lol As forthe actual movers they did perfectly with pad wrapping , shrinking and protecting all of your furniture . good for them 💪
This blows me away and encourages me as well! You didn’t just pack, you purged too going through everything! Wow! And you are so talented recording it all the way you did. Blessings...
Thank you, we should buy stuff at a slower rate, and move old stuff out faster than new stuff is coming in. We can get new stuff, but the total will still be decreasing.
That's cool! I enjoy hearing stories like that. It's equally nostalgic to me as well because we've lived in the new house so long now and I was only 15 when I made this video. Thanks for watching and making it back here after all these years!
Went through all this October last year. We went from a three-bedroom house to a two-bedroom bungalow, and much had to be donated to charity. A very stressful experience from start to finish. You guys seamed very organized.
+Agent 47 That's exactly right! We had to get a second moving truck at the last minute when we realized just how much stuff we had. Despite that, we have only used about half the stuff we moved in the last two years. We sort of put off the huge process of sorting through everything until the last few months, then were drowning in piles of boxes. Not the best way to prepare for a move but I think it made an entertaining video!
If I were to go back to a time before we moved while knowing exactly how much stuff we had, we would definitely not have been able to do what we did, but once we got started there was really no turning back so we just finished the process even though it took several months working several hours per day.
Amazing part 2 of this video How much stuff was in this house Toooo much Nothing seemed to have been thrown out or sold or given away Well done Joshua I bet you don’t want to see clutter ever again
I am impressed as well that we were able to move as much stuff as we did. We actually got rid of almost a third of our stuff in my "cleanup" video, but now that we are moved into our new house, I realize we probably should have gotten rid of a lot more.
Glad you liked the video! I hope your move was a little easier than ours, we didn't get rid of nearly enough stuff. This was 7 years ago now but I can remember the process feeling like it was never going to end. I used to watch other people's moving videos too, but I think my video was a slightly more "real world" example than what I had seen at the time, at least in terms of not having downsized enough.
Joushua you should keep only those things that r nessecary in your life ,otherwise you should donate it ,it may give joy to others . Or sell if you r not using . ..you have done a great job but in future it will not cost you that much hardwork ..love your dedication .☺
That teen man/boy did more than his share, and he did it well. Amazing how much cr*p a family of 4 can accumulate over time. Frankly the amount of stuff they went through boggled my mind. Wonder if the new place will be more organized and kept after re letting things pile up. Couldn't live that way meself. Great job.
Hey asking the odd question no one else is asking. What does your family do for work? I see lots of supplements and books. Do you guys run a at home pharmacy? I came across some of those when I went to visit family in south America (Bolivia)
Its similar but not exactly a pharmacy, those are vitamins and herbs and back at the old house my mom had a business selling them. When we moved to the farm we don't really have the time anymore so my mom's work is different but my dad still does computer work.
é bom e ruim...kkkk....mas quanto tempo tempo levou pra organizar e mudar....aliás me chamo Célio...aqui estamos no início do outono....valeu.
+XxxXVideoStarGirlXx xX Thank you, it was beyond a lot of work but it was great to be able to show people so they know what to expect. Good luck on your moving process!
It really depends on how much stuff you brought from the old house and how you think about the process. We are a family of 4 and kept a lot of stuff, so your move might go much easier than ours did. Also when we moved I liked to think of the process more as an exciting time to make changes to our lives, find things that have been lost for years in our house, and set up the new house exactly how it works best. If you think of the moving process like monotonous work then it will feel like it is taking longer and harder.
I know lol! I filmed all of these videos at various times whenever our family would work on packing, and they were supportive in allowing me to record the whole process but I didn't ask them to change clothes or anything. The videos just play so fast that not very many people notice!
We only moved once but I made 3 different parts so I could release the video throughout the process instead of one long one at the end. Right around the time we started getting ready to move I had just bought a Gopro and realized this whole process would be worth filming, and I ended up showing the whole thing. Glad you enjoyed it!
