the struggle is real!! not knowing how to cross roads and the autowalas keep taking longer routes for more money.....can't even depend on ola or uber....it gets worse if you don't know the local language but once you get friends..it all just gets set!!💙

Related to my current situation, especially the office one, where she tried to mix and take a part in their conversation and they just ignored her. Ppl in my office keep telling me why you are so quiet, y so shy... Dude seriously neither m quiet nor I am shy, it's just local people never welcome any outsider to into their group. This problem remains the same, no matter where ever I go

The struggle is the worst, when I moved from Gujranwala (a smaller but slightly developed city) to Lahore for work I was overwhelmed by how fast paced everything was and how urban and expensive the city was. I felt like such an outsider as everyone seemed to already know each other and the inns and outs of the city and I struggled finding my way back home in the dark as the roads were so confusing. But eventually I got used to it and still live there to this day, I realised that though it was hard at first, it gets easier with time.

Im from the Philippines so I’d say most of the stuff I watch from this channel doesnt correlate with my life but this particular video hits home. It doesnt need too much words but it hurts in the video just as much as it hurts in real life.

Just moved to Toronto.. And this is exactly how I feel. People think I am having the time of my life here all the time but it comes with a lot more of sitting idle and wondering things ..

This video feels so relatable. Albeit I moved from Lahore (an urban city of Pakistan) to Chicago, it just feels that the pace of life has changed drastically. Life is so fast that no one actually has time for you. I haven't been able to to make fast friends either because I have to save up money and if I hang out with them, i have to spend money. Sometimes it feels lonely but looking at this video is a consolation for me that I am not the only one who feels this way. I love this channel.

I just cried... God its just exactly what happens when you shift to a big city. It has its own pros n cons the best part that happend to me is that now Im independent and capable of doing things on my owm yrt somewhere I feel like in these freeking city lights fast moving life I have lost myself somewhere where people don't smile care like they don't even care... I liked the last part ...being a north indian ..My first city without my family was Mumbai..I lived for 2 yrs in a tiny apartment with 2 other people... Firstly I was afraid about this city but I make friends there gradually mostly who r not from Mumbai cz they understand me really well and also helped some who recently came in mumbai..it was a good feeling.

Well literally she is from Kanpur so We all can understand about a person from there to a big city in Mumbai. All these things shown were damn relatable and true.

This is actually so true, not only for people shifting, but also for people who live there. I shifted from Delhi to Jaipur (which was even smaller and simpler than it is now) and the simplicity of the people here really impressed me. And what's more, we were made very comfortable when we were new here, be it our home or my school. I have been in Bhopal too and experienced similar culture. *IMO* life is easier (somewhat better) in smaller cities

Everything is true and relatable. But what this video doesn't tell you is that when you move to Mumbai first, you may not get your own couch to watch the TV on. You will have to share it. That's typical of just Mumbai. Not every other city. Love this video though. Even recognise the places in it. :)

This came out exactly when I was about to move to bangalore from a small town. I was able to relate to this soo much. But it was a good experience. Now I'm back in my hometown coz of the lockdown. Don't know why, this video makes me emotional n brings back a lot of memories.

I spent my 13 golden years of my life at Podar International School, CBSE. It was then I got transferred to a new school called Vibgyor High (in the same locality; no change in the city). The first day went quite smoothly but I went through same experiences that Srishti went through after moving to a big city... I was never able to break the ice. The atmosphere was quite cold and unfriendly. Never mind, we come to school to study.

To all those people who are whining about being "alone in the big city", it's a common feeling in any situation a person is new to. Don't label the City (i.e. the people) harsh (or whatever negative) altogether.😅 (Even a fresher in a college feels the same, or any case for that matter. Doesn't mean the college is bad or the people are bad!) Not a rant, just a perspective worth looking at.

So true, Srishti! I moved to France 7 months ago, as an English assistant teacher in 2 schools. And it's so overwhelming. Every single thing & every single person. I know we Indians have high respect & regard for those who work abroad, who finally got the opportunity to leave India. I'm glad I'm coming back in May. All my life I've wanted to get out of Pune and now all I want is to go back. Pune zindabad, meri jaan... 💚

Also on a freaking rainy day, we lost our flat keys, and the neighbors nicely gave us Chai paani till my hubby got chaabi waala. I can relate to this video, now, after having moved to Singapore, people stare at phones like zombies, even while crossing roads,the silence is depressing man.

I was born a city girl and moved to a country where I grew up in the big city as well. I understand and feel for those who come from the province, because life in a big city is very fast phase and people aren't as friendly. I choose to differ and help/teach them in coping up. Sometimes a smile and small talk goes a long way😊 I hope when I visit India, I can engage nicely with the locals 🙏
