Hope you have great time. Don't forget the size of Oz. Question, are you able to complete a simple sentence without the word 'like'. Nothing personal, it is a question I ask 'the modern speakers'.

Yep it's a big big country! About 32 times the size of the UK. Haha by the sounds of it no. I never noticed in editing. Maybe it's a westcountry thing? As I seem to remember a lot of mates in school saying 'like'

@@rarefindssound Another question if I may. Your name, I am always intrigued by origins of names. As for 'like', I have a 46year old son that doesn't and 35 year-old daughter who does. Both are Uni grads so not education, constant evolution of the language in general. Safe travels and I look forward to see where and how you go. Subscribed of course just too keep eye on you. The name comes from my second name "Menadue". It's origin is Cornish "Menedh Du" (men-eh-do) and means Black Hill.
