Rocky might be suited for endurance. Or some type of competitive trail riding like we have in the US. I think he'd be good for the vet checks and being away from home. And he clearly loves trail riding. Just a thought. 😊

Hi Holly. Thanks for the Rocky update! He's a retired racehorse! Yay! Here in the U.S., today (9/3/2003) is the last day of racing at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York. I know this only because -- as a life-long lover of thoroughbreds -- I've been able to watch a wonderful live stream called "Saratoga Live" on RU-vid. One of the commentators is involved with an after-care program for racing thoroughbreds -- and after-care has been a daily theme of the show. I see you here with 8-year-old Rocky -- with his delightfully-snuggly, beautifully quiet nature as he literally 'strolls' along the path with you -- not changing a beat even when the reins are dropped. So cool! It's hard to imagine as we watch him now, but Rocky was once like the 'on his toes' entries in the Saratoga pre-race paddock area. You've done a marvelous job with him, Holly. Your techniques (and your own true nature) brought out his true nature -- the lovely temperament that was there. Best wishes for a glorious six months in Australia. Hi Holly, it's so nice to see Rocky again!! What a sweet lad :) I was wondering if you were planning on doing any eventing on him this year? You mentioned he's done dressage and cross country before, and I think you've mentioned before that Khal and Dali aren't really suitable for eventing, and even though you normally do showjumping it would be really cool so see some eventing on the channel! Is it on your agenda? Even if there's no plans for that I'm still super excited to see how Rocky goes this year, I've been following you since before Dali was even broken in so it's been years and I still get excited every time I see you upload! Big love :)

Welcome back (to Aus). You are just in time for the wattle flowering. It's been a relatively warm winter so summer will be hot. I hope you stay safe from bushfires. I'm 800km away (Adelaide) in the hills and am not looking forward to the possibility of fires.

So excited to see Rocky again (subliminal message...please keep him). Looking forward to seeing his progress. Just got back from two weeks in Ireland in Galway county (on horses) and then Dublin. What a beautiful country! You have such an amazing set up to be at each place for half a year. Enjoy!!

What kind of animals are coming in the clinic? Horses, dogs, cats or also others like kangoeroes, camels, snakes, birds?🤔 Are you a general vet or specialised? In every case you're lucky to have a halftime job, i mean half year fulltime. So you can spend your time with your horses and competing with your two amazing horses kahl and dali. And of course also thanks to your dad who is with them whole the time.🥰
