Hey Guys!! I thought I would finally begin to answer a much answered question. We finally have opened up, yet, another subject!! I am covering the subject of money in Canada. How much you might need to be prepared to spend if you are moving (or about to) to Canada. I understand this is not extremely in-depth; but the intention is to break down the subject more as we go along! Thank you so much for your continued support! Think Strong, alwaysx

Brenda Nkem awww!! Whereabouts in the world are you from? Check momondo.com. I use it all the time to find amazing deals. If you look on google flights they will alert you if the price drops. Ive been in a long distance relationship. Its tough. But you guys could always split the cost of the ticket. Depending on where you are coming from and your currency; it might not be too expensive. Good luck!!!

Well good luck. If you have questions on the country itself I can help. I am from Alberta, Canada. Many cities are looking for immigrants. I know many are wanting to move to the bigger places. If you like shopping Edmonton, Alberta has West Edmonton Mall. It is the biggest in North America.
@ninjaweretiger4273
@ninjaweretiger4273 6 лет назад
Well I know many parts of Canada are looking for immigrants. Some I know are headed to Stony Plain. It is a town outside of Edmonton. About 30 minutes away by car from Edmonton. A few are headed to Spruce Grove also located close to Edmonton. It is a city of roughly 36,066 people. I'd research more into places first. Like what stores or places are near by. A few stores I know that are in Edmonton or surrounding areas are Costco, Walmart, Canadian Tire which sells gardening stuff and other home related things, Superstore is one it sells food and clothing normally. A few restaurants are Moxies Classic Grill and Subway. I plan to try get my other RU-vid channel working so I can show different parts of Canada. I tend to travel a lot between Alberta and BC. So I record quite a few videos.

Freewheel Enterprises well i have been told that the canada weather isnt bad if you dress appropriately however the uk is cold and damp which the canadian people say "gets to your bones" and is worse. This is not my words. This is from what i have been told.

@jayarr7076
@jayarr7076 6 лет назад
Winters can get quite cold in the UK but Canada has harsh winters, UK winters are milder, and if you dress appropriately you can survive them without much fuss. I've lived in both countries, I was in the UK for three years ( London) from 2012 -2015 and the summers were bloody hot. I only had a heater in my room and didn't have an AC, so I had to buy a table fan because it got that hot. And during the day, I had to use sun block, because it did get that sunny. I've traveled to wales, scotland and northern Ireland apart from visiting several smaller cities and towns in England. The UK really is an amazing place to live in if you have a job that pays a decent income ( 3000 pounds/month). Its small so its not overwhelming, and for the most part people are polite and courteous unlike in the USA or Australia. I wish the UK brings back its PR program after Brexit, I know I'd move!

1000 sqft (92 square metres) would be considered huge apartment in Europe, suitable for 4-5 people. Recently I've been watching a lot of HGTV and it always cracks me up when people complain about the size of a kitchen being to small when it's bigger than my whole 1 bedroom apartment in Scotland.

FYI to people who are thinking of moving to Canada. Unless you are rich or have a good job waiting for you when you get here, don't go to any of the cities mentioned by all of these "moving to Canada?" Videos. They only mention the expensive cities/areas. There are ,any places where $2k/month will buy you a huge house(yes buy, not just to rent a bachelor pad in Vancouver or Toronto)

How do I immigrate to Canada?
@softleo6610
@softleo6610 4 года назад
I'm not from Canada, but here's what I've learned in my research trying to move to Canada. 1. If you're still in school, apply to a Canadian college. If you get it, apply for a student visa and go from there. If you are looking to permanently settle down, you need to have lived in Canada for more than 4 years to apply for citizenship. I'm sure immigration can help you once you land in Canada. Have plenty of money saved up (It's expensive to immigrate!) And look for small towns (Not Toronto!) With cheap rent to start you off. It will be hard but I'm sure you'll love it.

Hi Orchid, thanks a lot. your videos are amazing. I have a question. My girlfriend and I are planning to move to Canada. She wants to stay near her sister's family: Vancouver, but not too near. Preferably, BC. Where do you recommend in BC? We are researching other places as well, and we enjoy your videos. Just want to know what you think. Also, living in the downtown is better right? Since there are more jobs there and save the cost on travelling. Until we get sufficient amount and experience before moving to the suburbs.. Is there good transportation from suburbs to downtown?
@xsheebax
@xsheebax 7 лет назад
I think downtown is a great option; it is expensive. I didnt understand the first part of your question- Vancouver is a city in BC. I found the transportation in Vancouver very efficient and cheaper than Toronto. But, I was only in downtown when I stayed there so i dont know about much outside of the main city. Hope that helps.

Hello. I feel that all you videos are really usefull for persons like me who wants to move in Canada. I wanted to ask you an advice since I am in doubts about picking a city between Toronto or Ottawa where to move. I work as a business intelligence consultant (IT) in Italy. And in your opinion would it be difficult to find in Canada the kind of job i do in Italy? Thank you very much. :-)
