Moving to the Philippines was a beautiful mistake that we feel was meant to happen. As foreigners in this country we have been treated with so much love and care. We feel comfortably content and today J makes an emotional confession about what Siargao island has meant to us.
It's a beautiful sunny day for a drive in 'Biddy' the Corolla and we go to Wantaw for lunch.
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to Siargao island with Jmayel's mum & Story's grandma just before the Global pandemic that sent the whole planet into quarantine. We got stranded for months and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

Gah! You got me with that title! But it’s really amazing how things work out sometimes and what you said made me think. I can see how being somewhat content but supremely comfy at where I currently at at this point in my life can also be a mistake for me. It’s stopping me from going out and trying new things and looking for new experiences. I guess I felt that it would be difficult to top what I already have right now but I can see that life can still get better for me if I can reach the same level of simple contentment and tranquility you guys have. I’d also like to someday be able to be in a state where I can find joy and gratitude in the most mundane things in life like you, Jay.

I like the fact that I can live vicariously through your videos and have that freedom to roam around. Unlike here in the big city in the US, too many restrictions and some businesses are closed. Beautiful sounds of the sea and the waves. It's so therapeutic; making me so feel relaxed by listening to the waves just through this video. I miss the PI sea so very much. I used to go to the sea/beach w/ my fam every Sat & sometimes even Sun pm & swim and have a picnic. As a matter of fact, when I was really young, we often go to the seaside & pick some edible sea shells on the rocky seashore and by and in the mangrove. There was a rocky beach by the port; hence, lots of sea shells as well. Now, I am here in a state of US of A that has a desert and is very hot. It sometime gets 120 F in summertime. This year it was a record high hot. Lots of 120F temp. Looking at this video makes me feel so homesick and it's so nostalgic.
