Not many left there, for the same reason we have no more bobcats, birds, foxes, native lizards or frogs. Everything is clear cut and the animals die. You’re safe from animals of all sorts.
I have yet to meet anyone from NY here who is both under 60 and happy here. Do your research! Don't come here and then constantly complain that "it's not like New York!" It's not, and that's why it's as attractive as it is.
Beautiful. We are planning to be there on July 28th to July 30th. No HOA is exactly what we are looking for. Small house with large land with a beautiful Pool and Patio is our dream.
Thats great, We would be happy to take you on a tour and show you the best places to buy. Send me an email and I can set you up on my website and send you properties so you can start getting a feel of the market. lee@brickeyteam.com. Look forward to you coming down.
Thanks for the video. I want to leave NM and this region is in my mind. I am still working but will retire within the next 5-10 years. I like the golf courses and proximity to Stuart and Palm Beach.
Thank you for the comment. Feel free to reach out and we can discuse the different areas that may work for you. Look forward to talking. 561-460-8888 or lee@brickeyteam.com You can also search properties in Martin and St Lucie on my search site and get better information than the sites like Zillow. www.thebrickeyrealestateteam.com
Only in some of the HOA's if you live in them. The non HOA areas are not an issue and you can walk your dog in any park or take them to the beach in Jupiter anytime you want.
You don't need to go all the way down to Jupiter to take your dog to the beach! Pitties and all well-socialised dogs are welcome at the Walton Rocks Dog Beach right here! There are clean restroom facilities, picnic tables, covered pavilions and BBQ grills. I arrange The Pittie Party once a month to get all the pitbulls of Port Saint Lucie together for a beach day and BBQ. Let me know if you're here and you and your dogs can join us.
I understand your thinking but have you seen Port ST Lucie. The bottom of the market is $400K. It is priced where Jupter was 7 years ago and all that is moving there now is Cash and Conventional Buyes. Builders are starting tear homes downd to build new ones. Investors are pouring money into commercial real estate. People are selling homes for in South Florida and buying Cash or over 20% down in PSL. The market will grow anothe 50k this year with all of the new contruction pushing prices up.
Moved here two years ago. Big mistake! Hot as hell in the summer, super high property taxes, no downtown, mean as hell people, crazy drivers, house prices have skyrocketed.
Great video! Thank you for putting me onto Port St. Lucie…..I’m planning to move from San Diego sometime next summer and looking at different areas of FL to relocate to. Love that there are lots of areas without HOAs there! 💞
We look forward to meeting you and helping you find the perfect home. Lots of great homes not in HOA's If you would like to watch the market you can go to my site, www.thebrickeyrealestateteam.com and search homes in PSL or anywhere in South Florida. This will keep you up on the market real time unlike Zillow. Once I see you log in I will tweak your search for you. My assistant may text you now again but no one will spam call you. We will wait for you to call us. Have a wonderful night and thank you for reaching out.
I own a house in Port Saint Lucie, that's rented out till next year but I want to sell it with the contract. Is that something that would interest you?
Glad you're looking at moving to Port St Lucie, I've lived here for 41 years and it really is one of the safest cities I've ever been to. They have a lot more to do now than they used to, I moved here in 1981 and it was only 2,000 people living here at that point.
It is a great state and gets better everyday. It is why so many people are moving here. Port st Lucie is growing and is a way different place than is was when this video was made. I will doing an update soon. But the people are kind and inclusive. The town is doing a great job with make it safe for you and your family. They are pouring money into the schools . The fishing is awsome and you are close to other great cities like Stuart, Jensen and Jupiter. If you have any question about anything please feel free to reach out. We are here to help.
In the past 2 years rent for a one bedroom one bath climbed from about $1,000 a month to $1800-2400 a month we younger people who have grew up here trying to build our lives here are being pushed out by New York. And before you assume I flip burgers no, I am a skilled tradesman making good money but these prices being driven up by all these northerners has got to slow down
Better paying jobs and a better lifestyle will keep families moving to PSL. It is not just NY but South Florida and everywhere else in the US. But growth means opportunity so if your young, go find that opportunity because trust me, it’s out there for you!
Thank you for reaching out. It depends on your how much you want to spend, your timeline and what you are looking for in a community. But I love Tradition and the 55 and over community of Telaro by Mattamy Homes. It is a great value, and the homes and community are beautiful. Also they have spec homes and to be builts, but it is all new contruction for less than anywhere else in Tradition for what you are getting. If you would like to have a zoom or phone call, we can go over your options. I am also about to put up a pros and cons of the 4 new construction 55 and over communities in Tradition this week. But call me, text me or email me and lets set up a time to talk. 561-460-8888, lee@brickeyteam.com
Great information! I was looking to move Stuart/ Palm city area but have been considering Port St Lucie after looking into it more. How are the schools? How do they compare to Martin county and is any part of Port St. Lucie considered Martin county ?
They are good and getting better eveyday. Bellow are links that can help you make a good choice. Let me know how I can help?www.greatschools.org/florida/port-st.-lucie/ www.greatschools.org/florida/stuart/schools/
@@TheMoment813 Yes absoluly Lee@brickeyteam.com, my phone number is 561-460 -8888 and you can search homes on our home search site at www.thebrickeyrealestateteam.com
I know this question was asked but not answered, other than to say there are 5 in the state. What about the nuclear plant right next door to PSLucie on the water? Fort Pierce, Stuart, Jensen Beach, possible dangers: toxicity of ground water, air quality, environmental hazards etc.
@@VictoriaRodriguez-by3fs The answer is no. But start your own research here. world-nuclear.org/information-library/country-profiles/countries-t-z/usa-nuclear-power.aspx
1.18 Palm Beach County is 1.08 Not afraid to answer that question since the difference in home prices are 200k to 400k less in Port St Lucie. so it more than works out.
The prices in PSL are not where stuart is much less Miami. But your right taxes are! Only Miami Beach is higher. But taxes have always been higher in PSL.
Really appreciate this video! My wife daughter and pitbull Alan are moving down late July early August from Colorado. Used to live in Miami but the traffic and the scene is not what i want anymore. Thanks again for this
Where in Colorado? I graduated from Cherry Creek and have lots of friends in Vail. Love that state. Visit often. As far as you are moving down, we are here to help when you’re ready. Here is my website so you can search homes in real time like a realtor dose so you can watch the market. When you log in let me know and I can help you tweak your search. Enjoy that beautiful weather. It’s been nice here also. Look forward to speaking with you soon. www.thebrickeyrealestateteam.com
Yes there are some very good new home builders not in Hoa. We can definitely help you find the right home. Feel free to reach out 561-460-8888 and I can get you information on what's available
As a native Floridian, who lives in California (but will be returning home), I FERVENTLY second this advice. *Always* vote Republican, or else your municipality ends up like San Francisco, L.A.,.....or Miami.
I am sorry but with the insurance issues in Florida and the fact you don't own the property that the mobile homes sit on real estate agents do not sell them. They are not a very good buy because you never see equity and insurance companies will not insure them for wind
Greetings. I live in New York. I am looking to buy some investment properties( long term and short term rentals) in Port St. Lucie. Eventually, I am looking to move down south myself. Is Port st Lucie appealing for renters and tourist ?
Thank you for reaching out. Yes Port St Lucie is a great rental market. Takes us a couple of day's to find a well qualified tenant. As far as short term not so much. Reach out when you have time and we can discuss your options. Sorry for the late reply. I have been out of town with my wife. Needed to excape!
@Gone Fishing It is a real problem but with all of the multinational companies moving in and big tech I dont see that happening. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RHGmcATT9vg.html
There are great buys for investment real estate with all the people moving to Florida in Port St Lucie. Feel free to reach out and I can give you ideas. We are buying investment property for ourselves and our clients and doing very well with it. 561-460-8888 lee@brickeyteam.com. Look forward to helping you!
Over priced just like everywhere else. A lot of housing now it’s just a hodgepodge of mixed houses. Illusion of paradise but not quite. The traffic is getting awful. If it wasn’t for the new crosstown Bridge and the fact that they have 95 in the turnpike close would be a lot worse. Thousands of people are moving in and if they have two cars that’s double the cars 15,000 people will equal 30,000 cars at least. Crime is starting to run rampant as well. That’s everywhere nowadays. The bubble will burst soon enough like did before.
Lol, This is Florida, so depends on where you live. But if your near water you will see snakes at least but they leave you alone. Some places have gators and some don't.
Umm yea there are gators. It’s Florida! If there’s a body of water larger than a puddle consider it fair real estate for gators! And snakes definitely. As long as you don’t bother them they tend to leave you alone. Unless you’re walking a small dog…
@@jboturbo We do have snakes and gators. But like you said they leave you alone, I moved to Florida from South East Texas in the country. so I have been around snakes and gators for my entire life. But Florida dose a good job of removing gators from residential areas. Thank you for all your comments and subsribing to my channel. Great conversation.
